The game was always owned by the NCsoft, Gameforge is just publishing it. If they felt like adding few second of NC screen, they had all the rights to do so, so idk what's your point in there.
im pretty sure the loading screen always had GF's and NC's logo. ![]()
i recomend you to re-open the game and watch it properly instead of pressing "esc" , watch the difference ![]()
gf is just owning some publishing rights, the game itself will still belong to nc (unless they sell every right they own) - it's like you're surprised that you can read the author and the publisher of a book on its cover
as you can see with the pic Kelekelio posted, it's always been there, you might have just not noticed it before
Stop dreaming we never gonna back to Ncsoft. The 2 logo's have always been there
Both logo were always there indeed.
I think he is talking about the 2sec cutscene with the NcSoft-Logo+sound that was added with this maintenance

Pretty much. It's a new cut scene with only NC, that was added with last maintenance. GF is still the publisher, otherwise we wouldn't be playing right now on their servers or write on their forum. I just don't understand this addition of extra stuff to load, when there are plenty of other things to fix in the game.
I'm more interested of why we have permanent KR sounds. At first I thought they ran out of funds and voice actors for new stuff added with new patches but even the old one are reverted, so there is some licence that expired or something similar. The care for this game is amazing. What's next, getting the UI in KR only? No wait, we already have KR text here and there and wrong translation.
Indeed.

It is an addition sent by NC with the last patch. It has basically nothing to do with fixes nor any influence on any of that. I think it is due to them changing their logo, so they changed it IG too.

It's a general decision that was made, following the logic of having OV for cutscenes (like having OV when watching a movie). It's not related to any license topic as far as I know. Doesn't have anything to do with care either. It's a choice that was made since many players like the OV lots of players were downloading the korean voices packs anyway. I'll try to get more information on this in any case. I don't know if it can be reverted.
It's a minority of players who likes and install those voice packs. The majority use the default one. It's also not noob friendly to install them, having to deal with that with every maintenance when there is a patch. Putting these people in front or even mentioning them, as they are also the reason for changing this, it's a new kind of excuse imo. It looks like the choice was made for you.
But hypothetically, if there was a choice, why not make the choice to provide the game in EN/DE/FR, since we're in the EU and there are laws to assure it's one of those we will get? I know quite many players who dislike these high pitched and unintelligible voices.

I am not looking for excuses, none are needed, I am just providing some information and explanations why it happened. There can be others, I will check with the team.
There are no "laws" that force us to have NPC voices in any language, no. I'm preparing an announcement to explain why the change happened and make it clearer for everyone.
We are providing game is in DE, EN and FR in general, just not the NPC voices. And yes I saw a fair number of complains about it too, that is true.

so why cant we have an option for NPCs if players were downloading the KR voice packs to use them why can't both be installed and each player can pick which one they want ? if players can install the KR ones if they want i sure GF can make it both can be installed and the player picks which one they want to use?

I honestly don't have any problem with the NPC voices. It's the constand 8-year-old-girl-like screams from my character that's driving me (and probably most other ppl who complain about this) nuts. Please just give us the option to toggle combat voices, they are already recorded anyways. Would gladly just endure the rest.

same . I mean, i play male chars but others have females and it's annoying af. Can easily be done within the options of the launcher.
Add 'Select voices language.'
And as a reply to OP, why do we always have to complaing about everything ?
Few patches ago we didn't had any logo at all, then they added NC+GF, now it's only NC with sound(annoying). But if you would've checked the pic after the animated logo with sound you would've noticed both of them in the next pic.

To begin with, if you investigate a little, you will see that there are not only high-pitched voices and second point, the Spanish translation is also eliminated and I have not seen you complain, since I see that for you this country is not in the European Union
If it was a decision, it can be easily reverted to the community’s wishes right?
