is not the same look it , some things are different
Its pretty much the same... If someone can't do that instance without a vid/guide even with minor differences = uninstall.
Well this applies to every pve instance activity. If you can't do any current instances without guides/videos, just uninstall the game.
Aion is not all about events, yet the single event made it dead :?
Compared to afk alts jumping who knows?
Although many confuse my posts as being complaints, in my heart I love Aion. My post in general are 100% based on my in-game playing experience so trying to change things for the better should be considered constructive criticism.
Check out my latest post in General event discussion.
Next time pls don't skip maintenance.
Next time pls don't skip maintenance.
And how does it relate with getting ddosed by some spoiled brats?
I really doubt the server issues occurred due to DDoS in the same week they skipped maintenance. It's just easier to say it was a DDoS
Cool, I like conspiracy theories too
It is definitely DDos and has absolutely nothing to do with skipping the maintenance.
It is definitely DDos
Still is? Can we have a technical support update as to which servers are effected? Stormwing is not currently effected.

All servers are affected potentially but at the moment it is over. As always, it can be one, then another, then all at once etc etc... There is no other update to be provided. For now it stopped but it can come back anytime.
Even if it were due to DDoS attacks, they have been around for years, a small investment into preventing them would solve a lot of headaches but why should GF bother to ask for these to the svr host ?

Seems like you don't know how it works at all. We are constantly investing in preventing them. Otherwise the servers would be completely off since years.
It is true that i don't know how GF operates but i do know what a DDoS attack is and how to prevent them, it's not GF's job to prevent them but server host's job to do so

Even OVH and amazon have troubles to properly prevent them. And even so, there's always service disruptions for some, if not all, users.
Let's just be happy they have gone away for now. If they continue to happen it should be possible for the hosts to find out the source and prevent further attacks.

I bet they don't have anti ddos same as Gameforge x)
And even so, there's always service disruptions for some, if not all, users.
If this happens without any ddos attack then they need more bandwidth.

It kinda is.. the only way you can make any progress in this casino is with (broken) events+200 alts/accounts+shop.

Was referring to the post above mine. Should've quoted it in my post, my bad.
And for me aion is all about events since 5.x coz the only way of progress is farming events (shortly fixed in late 5.x where we could get stuff for playing the game normal with HT)
Wasnt 5.x all about farming GoKs for supplements on 1000000 accounts and living from one veteran rewards reset to the next one?
can we have it ?
