A spam bot has sent out explicit emails via the board mail function. This was NOT sent by Gameforge.
Please do not click on any link!

This is a shame.
Your privacy wasn't compromised, they sent a mail through the forum, they didn't see your e-mail.
It has also nothing to do with the paysafecard event as people who didn't participate also got the spam mail.

Yep. Seems like Email from forum user, now is banned or deleted so I don't have this in forum mailbox but on notification.
I thought that this forum engine have something like quota of send messages pet hour.
So no, no leaking data in this case. But I suggest to use capatcha during registration process.

Galeas Is the email situation being handled? And how much is compromised? We need to know what passwords to change etc.
Nothing is compromised. Some malicious people created forum accounts and used the mail sending option to send you mails that's it. they have no access whatsoever to your data.
We took the necessary measures to block them and so that they can't do it again in the future.

We are constantly fighting against such people and constantly trying to improve security to block them, unfortunately sometimes they find a way. -

Yes it has been handled and they shouldn't be able to do the same anymore. As I said on the previous message, nothing is compromised. If you clicked on the link then of course I would recommend a password change for that email.
