Simple answer: No.
(well, I doubt I matured significantly)
No. You're still as quirky as ever.
That's a big matter in MMORPGs nowadays. Nobody seems to have the time, but MMORPGs are simply taking time. If people have no time to find out things themselves (this includes reading a forum by the way) I may recommend them not to look for an MMORPG. Most likely.
There's the problem that arised due to the ever encroaching P2W bollocks: (Most) MMORPGs stopped respecting the time you've spent playing them. That's especially true for literally every (!) south-korean MMORPG. In fact, Aion was quite special (especially during late 3.x/early 4.x) in that regard since it was perfectly fine in respecting the time you've spent playing the game until NCSoft started implementing bollocks from 4.8 onwards. Besides that, the overbearing lottery/RNG-aspects suck.
In that regard, I can only agree with this statement:
The game is dying bc there are not many more patches left to come. So it is not worth to invest a lot of time into Aion to built up a character. Thats what these questions are all about. You can't have a second opinion about this.
There's no reason to play a dead game whose only aim is to wring out the last bit of money of its players. Well, that's south-korean MMORPGs in a nutshell though. Maybe Elyon will be nice, but they'll probably ruin it by some bollocky P2W-favoring game design or crazy P2W bollocks itself.
