I'm having a problem. After migrating my account and trying to log in it asks me to join Stormwing server which i was always on anyways but instead gets me to make a new character. All my characters are gone! Please help!

Definitely unheard of that player base declines post launch, never once happened in MMO history.
Asian population statistics definitely is what we need to draw conclusions.
Considering WoW had it's highest number of players worldwide in later expansions rather than at launch pretty much destroys your sarcastic response to Kotoro.
Take a look at any other mismanaged mmo and you will see they all had less players than when the game launched. The exception to this rule is WoW with "Wrath of the Lich King" and much later with "Legion" expansions. These were considered to be heading in the direction players wanted and that was reflected in the game peaking on players again at a higher number than initial launch.
Oneuproad Perhaps try to piece your thoughts together better than simply relying on sarcasm and insults if you want to be considered to have any real value in this debate. We are not in high school any more and you don't gain popularity by being the class clown.
Also i notice the same 4-5 players here in this forum post arguing for a 2.0 release versus a similar amount arguing in favour of 1.x The poll however puts 1.x considerably ahead in terms of a favourite. This tells us clearly that the majority of those whining on forums comes from the minority. Those who cannot be bothered to take part in the debate will simply vote with their wallets by not being part of the 2.0 release which is a louder form of voice than any we have here on the forums.

Thing is it wasn't my first post. It was like my 5th or something? Not sure what's going on... Although glad I'm not the only one with the issue 
More than I wanted real Aion classic before, I now want a confirmation that 1.x is not being considered at all and "classic" will launch as 2.0 so me and my friends can forget Aion and move on with our plans. Please.
Feel free to move on if that is your wish. Throwing your weight around with entitled demands isn't going to get us anywhere. I voted for 1.x over 2.0 in the other poll for reasons of my own. I am not however saying i won't play if we get 2.0 but i know many friends who won't jump into the game with me if that happens. I will be there regardless but i wanted 1.x
Galeas: please get a moderator to check my post on page 78 that for some reason is still unavailable. In that post i share some thoughts on what concerns i have about how some of the other regions were managed. No foul language used so i don't understand why it was auto-blocked.
Personally i couldn't care less for the new class if that's one of their main reasons to fast track us to KR version. I'm happy with the classes we have to begin with as i'm sure most are also.
Also, painter class is nonsense, doesn't belong in Atreia. Pineapple, however belongs on pizza!
Display MoreThat was one thing I like most to farm monsters, wait for good loot and so on. If they changes that because of "Bots - excuse No. 1" then i will not play classic. Give us the game we had 12 years ago and not a half changed game.

I agree if they implement this nerf to open world drops for the sake of some bots then it will only serve to kill the game faster. Also doing daily quests becomes even less worthwhile as there is no additional RNG drop that can make you excited.
Considering the manastone system of classic where a failure would remove all stones already socketed will result in many walking around with garbage white stones (if at all) which will cost more than they should anyway due to the higher level ones being nerfed on droprate.
A nerf on crafting materials and godstone drops etc will also result in players leaving due to dissatisfaction. I can live with bots, i don't want open world mobs to become worthless outside of questing.
Yeah sure ppl that dont have stormwing gear are gonna sell it instead of getting it for them, no it doesnt happen. Also if your with a random/lfg team making every1 pass roll and selling to some1 is risky that you get scammed one way or another. So ppl tend to roll and make it enchant stones, or even ppl that have that piece dont say anything and get it for them for extra enchant.
You are wrong on this. There is very good reason to sell SW gear before you give it to yourself as the demand at the start is much much higher. My own premade back in 2.0 days before the 2.1 Stormwing nerfs was selling them at a premium and then splitting the kinah. It does happen, has happened and will happen again.
We literally had the player numbers for a while on myaion.eu but you're talking out of your ass as usual. Yeah they had to open new servers, AT LAUNCH, but after that, the server population steadily declined
Doesn't take away from the fact that 2.0 was the decline of Aion the world over. Yes it initially spiked when it launched due to hype but it did NOT hold players for nearly as long as 1.x era. Seems to me you are the one talking out your back side.

Well said Zazael. I share most of your sentiment as to why we should start in a lower patch than 2.0.
There are many in the forum and discord that claim we are looking at this through rose-tinted glasses/nostalgia but that simply isn't the case. I remember very well why i loved 1.5 and it was about the journey to endgame and not just the max level stuff. I never felt rushed to hit endgame and leveled multiple alts before even hitting 50 on my first one. I'd love to do that again and i have friends waiting the same.

That's fine if you want answers to other questions you deem important but don't go dismissing the difference between 1.5 and 2.0 as "small". Pretty entitled to say it's "not worth discussing" when it's the burning question most of us have.

First step will be the stream in december in which we will answer as much as possible, but it might be that some stuff is still not final by then ofc.
The thing is Galeas, many of us including myself are happy to wait until December on further news about how this form of classic will come about but the one thing myself and many wanted made clear before then was whether there was ANY chance at all we can still debate the starting version of the game? If the answer is "No" then fair enough but if there is a chance then having this resolved before the December stream would allow you guys at GF more time to make any necessary changes.
Also i fully 100% disagree with you on it "being too early to advertise" the game. Games announce themselves to be "coming soon" all the time before a date is set in stone and as mentioned by AionClassicFanBoy99 right now only those of us with a vested interest even know about it's existence.
