Okay so I was trying to get my nephew on to my server to join up with me and play. We had some issues.
First he didn’t listen and chose a different server to create a character, went through all the creation and then we realized he wasn’t in Lumiel with me. Which is fine except he had to start over the entire creation process because you have to PAY for custom presets.
Then he got into Lumiel but made it on NA West. Which I thought “oh you should be able to just swap over for the region surely” but you can’t. Which is stupid. It’s just a connection region. Why are you region locked?
I have two suggestions:
The easiest fix is to make this a time saver for the future is to make us have at least one or two preset slots in the character creator so if mistakes happen they can click one button to save it and one button to carry it over to a fresh acct because I’m certain other players will run into the issue. Surely you want your game to have convenient fixes to things like this.
The other fix which may have some issues idk the details on y’all’s end, but make it possible to just swap server regions at any time on your character. Theres no reason you shouldn’t be able to do this, you can do it in every other multiplayer game to be able to play with friends who don’t live near you.
