A few weeks ago, along with a letter to the community, we shared a roadmap for AION Classic in 2023. In this letter, we announced that we planned on updating Classic to 2.0 this Summer, more precisely around End of July. After reviewing your feedback and analyzing the data that we have been able to collect since the launch of AION Classic, we came to the conclusion that you could use a little more time to fully enjoy the current version of the game.
AION Classic 2.0 is still scheduled for Summer 2023 but we decided to push it a bit, aiming for August! We still want a decent pace for Classic updates but we also want to let you enjoy the content of each update as best as possible.
Thank you to all the players who shared their feedback with us, we are so grateful for the reaction and involvement from the community since the launch of AION Classic in Europe.
There is a lot to be looking forward to with AION Classic, but until 2.0 is here, we hope you enjoy your time on our Custom 1.9 Version!
