How about I fix your issue instantly;

Game 1; Aion Retail =/= Game 2; Aion Classic

Run them separately and you will have no issues. Nobody that cares about Classic cares about retail (or a very small percentage do). I don't see any point of trying to tie them together. Have 2 launchers, what's the problem?

I figure that is their fear to be honest, but the reality is, the population of Classic is gone be players like me that hasnt touched Aion since 5.x + ever , theres a lot of vets wanting to return, some of the current retailers might come check it and see the game is not for them, so its not gona hurt it at all. but yeah

Gold Packs have always been a thin line to thread in, u can see it as the easiest RMT method to make kinah out of €€€ , but the thing is, at least helps having a way LARGER playerbase since complete f2p players can buy them and enjoy the game as a whole while the "whales" support the game paying for gold packs. even though i prefer the idea of Sub only, Gold Packs are not a thing id say no. Yes to gold packs, no to daeva pass and candies and we hit oil!

There's a reason why Aion failed, not that the game was bad, might not even be the fact that it was hella p2w and the Western audience hates p2w. I think Aion failed mostly because bad decisions and yes.A lot of time in making those decisions.Most of the time they dont listen to their players thats why it failed.

Im pretty sure that if classic comes to EU hopefully soon the game will age badly again.But to be honest until 5.0 the game was more then fine.If they can keep it like that then evrything will be good.

However with all this waiting most players wont care anymore and move on and just let it die.

up until 4.6, the introductions of temperings and the overhaul on skills etc on 4.7(8)? was the biggest downhill, Heck even up to 4.7 if there was no new classes and all the weird mechanics to enchant accessories or after to go beyond +15 was fine, those were the worst decisions imo, 4.x is an amazing patch, lots of pvp, extremely lots of content etc, so game should go all the way there but with extreme cautious to not repeat past mistakes.

That was my whole point, to begin with.

As I explained several times this is not the case. We were originally the ones suggesting having classic servers to NC years ago. The whole idea basically came from us (you can find it in streams with Nic from back then). If we didn't want to have classic, we would have just said it, there is no point in hiding that.

Whatever happens, do classic in your own Gameforge terms, don't follow other regions, even though i am enjoying NA but want EU and will switch the moment it happens, Daeva Pass ruined completely the game because of the coins, Also the candies.
If you want to success do not implement Daeva Pass, keep it sub base game, but get a Cash shop with alot of Cosmetic Items, Gender/Plastic tickets, Dyes, Warehouse/Inventory Expansions, theres alot of way for you guys as company to make alot of money without hurting the game heavily.
Do not allow candies to be sold on Vendor NPC's. This won't make ppl not buy them, instead people will still buy them to sell to players at lower prices and they will still get sold.

You guys will be the last launching a classic, learn from the mistakes of all others and do the best classic we can get.

One last thing before this gets too big, 1.2 is a boring patch, pure bare bones with barely any content worth doing, Launch on 1.5 at least, or if you decide to launch with 1.2 do not take more then 1month to upgrade to 1.5.

Can we get classic yet? I am extremely tired of playing on NA classic with all the Desync that happens thanks to the ping etc, this is nonsense, biggest Aion playerbase is from EU, why are we not having classic yet????
