Okay, after having completed them this week, I will put my thoughts on these HT.
-Firstly, the rewards are more than decent. If enough people put in the effort, achieving the faction rewards is quite manageable and they are very good, with several transformations, vision weapon, runes and odians, the exp events on october... Very nice. It is also very welcome that the mobs count in alliances and leagues, incentivizing people to cooperate instead of fighting for the mobs
-The jorgoths and silentium fluxes included in the rewards are extremely welcome. Doing them every week gives a lot of materials for these necessary pieces of equipment. I must commend the team for that Galeas .
-There are a very achievable quests to do this time. The quests do not need an inordinate amount of time and once you know the mechanics (large mob groups spawn at point hours e.g. 21.00, 16.00, 17.00, etc, knowing to do the right side of hererim mine, etc) they are extremely achievable in a reasonable amount of time. Also 6 quests do not feel overwhelming as the previous iterations versions of 20 quests per week. Another welcome addition is that, apart from dredgion, the quests can be done at any time without needing to modify your life to be online at exact moments.
-Finding 5 monsters in ara instances is much less of a headache than having to find 15 per run.
The bad part of the HT are mainly the annoying bugs of counting the mobs that you kill. It is farily common for people to get less mobs credited in places such as hererim mine, where the risk of death or miscounting mobs is practically zero, and yet not all mobs are credited as killed. This can be very frustrating.
-The other downside is how RNG dependent the dredgion quest is. Apart from requiring a coordinated team following the same route, you can have bad luck and have several raccoons spawn in the opposing initial rooms that you have no chance of contesting and taking a bad gamble on a crossing in those situation can lead to very poor counts in some attempts. If the RNG distribution was symmetrical it would be much fairer, or even better, have more mobs so there are more chances to obtain some even if the majority spawn in a very convenient place for the opposing team.
Overall, I find these HT a gigantic improvement over the previous iterations, in particular the horrendous last one, with a nice incentive of cooperating with your faction toward a common goal and much less tedious or overwhelming than previous iterations. I am pretty impressed with these. Good job!
As a final note, if anybody wants some tips on how to efficiently complete several of the quests, feel free to ask me either here or in discord #VichelChaos8724 .
