That was already happening before Hero Trials got implemented. Some special snowflakes - so sorry if it’s being offensive but it’s the most joyful way to describe someone with that attitude I could muster - already did that, although not at this magnitude. Too many times I had to put my main on the same spot as my alts for proper karma.

Yep, welcome to 6.2 where only gear matters.

Just used ALL my hard-earned mana/ench stones to improve my Lakrum Reconnaissance PvP gear.

Can I now withstand battle more than 2 seconds :D

You are not supposed to wear that gear for PvP. Let me tell you that it was a waste of resources and time to even enchant and socket manastones in it. That’s the campaign gear and, like in previous patches, total rubbish.

My advice to you, before you would start playing this or any other game, check YouTube or google some tutorials so you don’t feel lost or frustrated by it.

So u dont want pve gear cuz some noobs that already have some parts are ego and dont accept ur gladi?then with that event u will get a red item and u will finally go prometun(1 box per char) TomSpanks

And I just remembered something. If the loot would be one box per char, economy would suffer. Why?

People start getting other chars just to loot and reap the benefits of selling gear. Imagine how much kinah those who are doing in 2 or 3 man would get.

I would only recruit for 3, max 4 man so I could get 1 or 2 alts in to reap those benefits. Doesn’t seem fair, does it ?

A lot more kinah on the server, just like in 5.x and we all know what happened with selling supps.

I already go Prometun with it. That’s not the issue, not getting my alt invited for “random” instances.

I’ll give you an example: a group invites a player for a dungeon, getting linked gear that shows the player has done that instance before. Inside, headless chicken syndrome kicks in and the group isn’t able to finish the instance. When they finally make it, with said player afk because he was asked to - cross server, can’t kick people - guess what ! Ultimate drops for the headless chicken class ! And now he can leech another group, just by linking 2 parts gained by chance. Fair right?

I say again, raise the ultimate drop rate a bit more, but don’t just give every single char an ultimate part.

That can happen, but only in private servers..

And I actually think skill, gameplay and knowledge still play a bigger part than gear, only towards PvE ofc, unfortunately.

As I said before, PvE atm is totally braindead and you can’t fail, although sometimes fails still happen somehow..

Yesterday I did HT - I know it’s HT meh - in 3 with my undergeared glad that gets rejected for 4 man runs and even PW, where it outdps’ other people with ultimates. This is why I think skill and gameplay still are a big part of the game. I’ve only been playing that class for 3 months, on and off, but first, before I wasted someone else’s time I took the time to learn it’s basics.

Would you rather invite someone under geared but knowledgeable in the game and class or someone that flashes a couple ultimate parts and in the end has a subpar performance? If people are gifted “free” gear, a lot more problems will surface.

Ofc it’s painful when you only miss one specific part and it never drops, but hey, keep trying. Your time will eventually come. It’s only PvE after all.

In my case, I’m far from full red gear. Hell I got 4 parts on my main temp, 2 of which are PvP. My glad has 5 ancient pieces and rest is legendary +5. So, in my case, that sentence doesn’t apply.

Gear shouldn’t be freely given. I agree,: drop rate, luck in getting the part for your class, etc could be higher. Just don’t give people gear for free.

For this: “I don’t think giving gear freely will help because if you don’t know the class or what you’re doing, you’ll just end up dragging the whole group down and wasting time “

People ask to link gear, you link ultimate parts only to end up not knowing what to do or how to do it. That is why. And it happens more than you can imagine, unfortunately

Actually I don’t really think it’s about being elitists. I only do PvE or PvP with people I know. I refuse to go with a full group of people I never played with and the same is true when I’m recruiting.

If it’s someone I know and wants to come with an alt, I auto accept that person because I know they are knowledgeable in what needs to be done. Same applies to my alts, geared or not.

I don’t think giving gear freely will help because if you don’t know the class or what you’re doing, you’ll just end up dragging the whole group down and wasting time - for PvE it’s ridiculous the DPS or Support some people provide since it’s so braindead gameplay. Sure, you’ll probably get accepted more often for parties but that would be a one time show, trust me.
