Challenging new instances will put your skills to the ultimate test in Update 2.5! Today we’re taking a look at the Deathly Chamber. Learn about what awaits you inside.
Treasures from Beyond: The Deathly Chamber
Venture through the Deathly Chamber as a duo or a trio, where you can expect to find treasure chambers filled with riches… if you’re quick enough!
You can enter the Deathly Chamber once per week from level 51, and it resets weekly on Wednesdays at 9 AM.
Backstory
The Ashikar Legion has taken refuge in this godforsaken place. Whoever dares to venture inside and defeat them will find rich rewards in the treasures which the ancient dragonfolk have squirrelled away here...
Where Is the Deathly Chamber?
You can enter the Deathly Chamber via entrances in Inggison or Gelkmaros. The entrance for Elyos in Inggison is on Mephistis Farm, while Asmodians should head to Marayas Scrubland in Gelkmaros.
The Instance
The cold chill rising from the seemingly endless chasm makes it clear from the outset that the Deathly Chamber is an inhospitable place. The Balaur lurking around here only serve to underline that initial impression, dispensing with any pretence of formality and attacking uninvited guests as soon as they appear.
It doesn’t take long before you end up in front of a magical barrier. Up to this point you can proceed at a leisurely pace, but the moment you cross the barrier, a 15-minute timer will start. You must now pick up the pace, as the spell on this sinister chamber will make any treasures you don’t collect within this time disappear!
You’ll find yourselves in a huge chamber in which six bridges span a seemingly bottomless chasm. At the end of each bridge there is a door, guarded by two particularly tough Balaur. And behind these doors – you’ve guessed it – lie the treasure chambers, and the goal of your adventure.
Tips and Tricks
Take the time to reorganise yourselves after you’ve defeated the Balaur before the barrier. You can take as much time as you need, just make sure you don’t accidentally touch the barrier and start the timer!
Once you reach the bridges, it’s up to you to decide how much risk you want to take. If you split up, you have the potential to loot more of the treasure, but you’ll also have to face the guards to the treasure chambers alone...
