Good post. More needs to be done against bots/cheaters.
Example:
having voluntary GMs in the game that ban the obvious (teleport-hacking) bots would already be a massive step-up.
-
Bots sure... they are many, but do they destroy ur gameplay?
I don't se bots sell items on market.
I see alot of bots teleporting + questing both on ely and asmo side and sure thats is stupid but even if they get ban hammer they keep coming back...
If People stop buying Kinah then they will eventully stop.
Yeah they do destroy gameplay because they ruin the economy.
People aren't going to stop buying kinah if it's not punished, Gameforge needs to BAN people that buy kinah.
Track a bot, see where the kinah ends up, and PERMA-BAN whatever account the kinah is traded to.
How they ruin the economy when they arent even use AH?
And there is daily like 1.2mil? kinah to npc per day.
And at 40+ that is pretty easy todo so for everyone i notice price on items has gone up every week low level items has gone down abit but thats normal. But some low level items gathering items are going up in price to. There is noone farming them anymore.
>How they ruin the economy when they arent even use AH?
You are wrong, they do use the AH.
>And there is daily like 1.2mil? kinah to npc per day.
thats why you see all the stores selling NPC items at a discount. These are botted items.
>But some low level items gathering items are going up in price to. There is noone farming them anymore.
yeah and it doesnt matter. bots are farming the high level gathering items used at endgame.
Gathering as a player becomes completely pointless with the amount of bots doing it.

Bad topic.
Racism doesn't exist on this game because people can't see who's behind the computer-screen. Anyone can pretend to be anyone, you will never know.
DPS-meter is good as it promotes competition.
Bots are the only good argument you bring forward. It's a major issue that needs to be addressed instead of ignored like it is now. -
What answer would you like to hear?
- We don't ban bots? - Straight up horrible, they won't say so because that would mean even they don't respect their own ToS.
- We ban bots? - They said it few times already, ppl still upset
- We banned x bots? - What does it change when there are still bots running around for weeks/months
- We apologize, we did wrong, but we will do better from now on? - Why would they admit that. Also why would anyone belive it
We don't want answers, we want solutions.
There's not just a bot-problem, but also a hack/cheat problem on a massive scale. Entire botfarms blatantly using teleport-hacks.

There's plenty of people that would volunteer to ban obvious bots. It wouldn't cost gameforge anything
Would they be still open to volunteer if they had to sign an agreement with financial fees if they ban someone who's not bot? Because otherwise it's just waiting to be abused
u'd just have ur rights removed if you abused it. It's an irrelevant non-issue that doesn't compare to how good it would be for the economy is bots were banned.

Can we get an official answer from GF or what NCsoft thinks about it - is botting allowed in classic or it isn't?
And if it is not what is the punishment?
And if there is a punishment is Gameforge actually doing anything to enforce it?Im asking because I see hundreds of bots daily walking in lines and using speed/teleport hacks and they grind all the mobs. Same name bots that have been reported many times too. I was wondering if I should just join them because I don't rly see how is it fair for some players to make billions of kinah with bots while us fair players struggle to make 10mil.
Doing something against it would cost Fail Forge Money....
so there you have your answer...

Why doesn't Gameforge hire a GM to perma-ban the teleport-hacking bots in the game?
You can probably also find volunteers for this in your community that will do it free of charge.
Stop neglecting the botting and hacking issue.
