These are the TnC your friend signed up to.

magic resist was and is still an all time favourite for picking in this patch, not only does it prevent general roots and magic spells, it can also prevent a silence godstone or other effect godstone proccing.

i had to reinstall entirely as verifications have kept failing, added my account, but loading screen reaches 99% then sendlog error. This is utterly disgusting that a new client was pushed without it being up par.

now im reinstalling aion to see if that solves the issue.

it says my account is corrupted and has been deleted. My account was initially a steam account any ideas if my account is now gone forever or whats going on?

I still cant add my account, its stuck in verifying installation. for 3 hours now.

the aion client says that i cant add my account to the game so when i click on launch nothing happens, any ideas?

Please be aware of these important changes.

Additional Changes

Following this change, we will close the old AION website, meaning that the rankings, Hero Trials and web shop will no longer be available.

We’ll also be removing Veteran Rewards and Elite Levels from the Live version. The ‘Manage bonuses’ section (via the AION Shop in the game) won’t be available for some time after the migration. If you need an item from there, please assign it before March 29th, 2023. We will inform you when the section will be accessible again.

------

Guess this is the end of the abuse of veteran rewards.
