    Hi.

Yes, I tried /retreat but it has no effect . I asked a sumon on global chat but it was late and I got no answer. Maybe i'll have a better chance next time during the day.

    Hi.

My character on classic EU Tabatha server is stuck under the floor in Eltnen. It keep falling so I can"t use a scroll or return. When I try to contact the support from the launcher, I can't log in to my account.

    Some help would be apreaciate.

if they wanted to give more accurate information they would have said something like "The drops are not gonna be the same as in NA right now, but open world mobs will have higher chances of dropping things " etc etc, but instead of that, they just simply said "it will be worth it". So its just a words game and i think we all know what to expect. It's simply not informative enough to bait people into playing and buying siels aura, simple marketing. Specially since Galeas mentioned that there are things they cannot change from KR version (drops are one of those things from what i understood). Everything i said is just pure my opinion.

The more I think about it, the more I'm guessing we aint getting the 1 free week of siel aura (like KR and NA had at release) not to let ppl figure about it (the open world drop rate issue) without paying.

As a compagny, if you're confident in the quality of your game, giving 1 free week of siel aura allow you to hook players who are not sure about playing the game without a 1st try. And if the game is good, you'll keep those player.

But if you're not confident about the game quality, the 1 free week would give enougth time to the players to figure out that the game is not what they expected.

Maybe we're the only region without that 1 week of free siel aura becuz GF is unconfident about the quality of classic launch? I'm just guessing at this point.

Thats not a p2w so much.

However the Daeva pass is extra goodies for thowse that want to pay for it. Its not like you are getting weapons or anything that will get you ahead in the game. Most dont bother to buy it and do just fine.

    Hi.

Well, actually from the Deavapass you're getting 400 coins of each tier (silver, gold, ...). With those coins, you can buy gold atk speed weapons and gold gear. With 400 coins, depending of the tier we talk about, you can buy at least 1 weapons and still have extra coins to either buy some parts of armor or sell it to the AH. At lvl 36, when you'll have access to this silver coin gear, there is noway you have enougth coins to buy anything unless you bougth the deava pass or focus on farming thoses coins (buying or repeatable Q).

So, I don't think it'll be gamebreaker, but it's a real advantage in gear and money (coins sold for about 10k each on NA) during the levelling. Giving you a faster mob kill time and giving you the edge in early pvp against ppl who don't own the pass.

    O

Eu will have even bigger problem becouse its start of server and there won't be any drops at all. P

And where does this information come from ? I suggest you read the FAQ ;)

With all my respect to GMs,

You pointed out recently in an interwiev with the French youtuber "hyro" that the drop rates in Classic EU will be the same than they are actually in NA or KR. That mean drop rates nerfed to the ground to prevent bot farming in the open world. Did things change since that interview or do you consider that "it will be worth farming in the open world" (quote FAQ) just like it is actually in NA/KR?

If I understand well, XP rates will be *2 compared to the release that classic NA/KR had. I'm worried about the amount of lower lvl balaur mats available for crafts if evrybody rush through 50 in 3days of /played. Especialy when paired with the "potentialy low drop-rates"

I'm sad that the instances "Nochsana" (lvl25), "Fire temple" and "Steel-rake" will be solo instances in classic EU (you said that in the same interview with Hyro). Why that choice? I understand turning instances to "solo mode" after hype of the few monthes, but why at release when there'll be plenty of ppl around ready for those instances. To me, offering a way to bypass social interaction (that you would have by running instances in a party instead of solo, filling your friend list in the process) looks bad.

    Thx for your answers.

From what I read here and there, the major complain about classic 1.2 is the hard leveling. I feel like this complain comes from ppl who didn't experienced 1.2 and feel, like it's the case in many other MMO, that the leveling is a tutorial and the real game start at level max. I feel like it's not the case in 1.2. since level 50 pvp gear should not be a focus in 1.2 unless you already get a 30/40 pvp set. and you can already grind those 30/40ish pvp set as efficiently as a character lvl 40 than a lvl 50, and by the time you get your 1st set, you'll mostly be lvl 50 whyle simply focusing on gearing up for endgame.

Major argument for me to go 1.2 patch is that it is all about open world pvp. Whyle the 2.0 patch, as ppl say, offers many "end game content" disigning mostly instanced pve (including pve from later 1.X patch). And the more ppl doing the "pve endgame content", the less in the openworld.

    Hi,

1st of all, english is not my native language, so i'm sorry for the mistakes.

I played Aion back in 2009, from 1.5 to 2.7, tryed KR classic for a month, and played NA classic. I voted for 1.X version, and sincerly wish the server to start at 1.2 over any other patch.

The reason why I favor this one over the others as a starting patch is that I don't feel like I need to rush lvl 50 to start playing the game, I can already enjoy the game at lower lvl, doing pvp and abyss grind for AP, without feeling "late" or "behind" ppl who focused more on leveling.

I mean, you don't grind AP much faster beeing 50ish over 40ish. You still grind AP doing PVP, guards grind and abyss reps and get about the same AP doing so, being lvl 40 or 50.

Also, if you wanna consider endgame gear like lvl 50 pvp set, you'll mostly have to get a 30 pvp set (or 40?) 1st anyway. And you can already start grinding this 30/40 set almost as efficiently as a lvl 38 than at max level. What will make the difference here is more gear related than level related. And by the time you get your 1st pvp set grinding guards and reps, you'll be lvl max anyway.

Basically, what I love in 1.2 is that you can choose, as soon as you hit lvl 38+, to focus on gearing up your char for endgame. You don't "have to level up to 50 ASAP" to stay competitive. There's nothing you can do at lvl50 that you can't at lvl46 in 1.2.

This patch is also the most open world pvp oriented to me. There is no way to safely grind relics in pve dongeon or wait for dredgion for some safe AP. In this patch, you want AP, you'll have to risk it.

With this mindset, even later 1.X patch with dredgion and DP don't appeal me as a starting patch cause they start to introduce the feeling of "I need to rush". I need to rush lvl 46 for the free AP and the chance on Lakhan's headpiece in the DDG. I need to rush 48 so I can run my daily DP.

Starting with 2.0 patch would make me sad. Here, the feeling of "I need to rush" to 51+ is huge if you wanna play the game seriously. Also, here is the era of the "PVE heroes". I mean, watch 2.X version of the game on twitch... all you see is ppl grinding PVE : 3-4 men upper fort for relics, duo the new ingi/gelk instance for relics, BT... After a few month, you'll meet ppl you've never seen befor in the open world, fully geared from PVE/relics.

Also, whyle it can be good to have more endgame content in 2.0 than 1.X, it also makes the open world more empty. I mean, you can get a better character progression doing safe instanced content than doing anything else in the openworld. In this 2.0 patch, I can play 4-5 hours having the best progression for my character by running BT, Upper instance, ingi/gelk instance and DDG if available. And whyle doing so, I don't have any risk to loose any AP.

So, if I could choose the starting patch, it would be 1.2 because it's, to me, the most open world pvp oriented and because you can focus on endgame gear as soon as you hit 38. I personnally wanna play classic for the classic exprience in the 1st place. After that, going slowly to the new 3.0 classic+ that NCsoft is working on would be fine to me, but I don't want a fast catch-up to the classic+ by starting in 2.0.
