that theory makes 0 sense at all lmao

Classic NA just announced lower Aura prices along with better free stuff if you dont pay Aura AND 2.4 on the 28th. I don't think that's a coincidence. I'm confidant that we will get some good news soon!

    /theorycrafting

inhowfar should this be of any relevance for classic in EU? light me up, please since for me the theory behind ur theorycraft isn't clear

Why in europe, we don't like us, we want aion classic EU and it's complicated, ncsoft is really not the serious company it used to be..

Aion classic NA works mainly because Europeans are on it, so many players wait and end up getting tired of your noob attitude.

Are you waiting for a competitor to release a game to release aion classic EU ? so there will be no one ?

Maybe we have to think about changing the direction of the company and getting people who like video games to work..

I want to insult you.. realy..

who on earth are you talking to? the imaginary ncsoft CEO who has surely never visited this thread, or what? xD

    Galeas

IF we ever get classic, do you know whether we will have the race-skill balance-adjustments korea just made this month from start, or would we have to wait til 2.x to get them?

As it has been stated we'd be starting with 1.2 patch in Europe and from my own perspective there's not a chance in hell KR will bother with implementing such a fix for us. I mean look how long they've taken to even provide us with any version of the game.

i don't think its necessarily like this that they have to "add" that with extra effort since it isn't part of a specific content update. since it's about skill changes i could imagine that these changes are already implemented even on a 1.2 patch they hand over to EU. But again, i'm unsure how it works and thats why i asked ;)

Small suggestion to consider for gameforge if classic ever came to EU which i think wasn't mentioned before among other criticism about NA's classic:

I'd propose to remove all coin rewards from the battlepasses. It was such a pity that everyone could just easily get great weapons with attackspeed, movespeedshoes and attspeedgloves for free. The whole purpose of content like finding/hunting rare named mobs during leveling phase became completely obsolete and was therefore destroyed.

I really considered that a pity and it did hurt my personal "vanilla" experience by quite a bit.

what do you guys think about this - admittedly - "minor" issue?

if you're that pessimistic, what are you still doing here posting daily?

Candies were definitely the driving factor in why NA classic failed. It was so good to see how much interest there was /is in a well-implemented retail version of Classic and it would be such a shame to see GF make the same mistakes as NCWest...

Server balance is another big issue and needs to be looked at from minute one. Offer incentives for the weaker side (maybe+20% xp on weekends?)

Aion Pass (Atreia pass) needs to be looked at carefully as well

Candies are fine, as long as they cant be sold to an npc. nothing wrong about having candies available and tradeable in-game imo.

Your point about balance is valid and i agree, that it's important enough to keep track of right at the start. Your suggested solution is bad though, this would lead to huge advantages/disadvantages in terms of racing for "server first lvl 50" and all the benefits that come with being among the first high-lvls.

i suggest that they do it the way it was done in korea and limit the server capacity on 80ish % at start, and immediately block factions once a larger disbalance arises until the disbalance evens out. then they can slowly fill up the servers in a balanced way.

i'm not delusional and im aware that some p2w to a certain degree will be there surely. My only hope is, that they dont' make the shopitems sellable to npc's since NA classic's economy was destroyed immediately due to the candies being sellable to the npcs.

Another valueless post that doesn't provide any information or reason.

It's completely unclear to me how u are deducing from this post that we "probably won't have classic in EU".

You don't mention from whom this post is (could be any random person without a clue speculating around), nor does it have any apparent relevance for todays' situation since it's old and no official facts are mentioned.

Sometimes i really wonder what goes on in ur minds posting such stuff

u say it yourself: the fact that they said they will get a fix for retail AND are working on getting a fix for classic doesnt mean at all, that both will come at the same time.
its nothing else than foundationless guessing that two possibly fully independent things will come packed together as a bundle.

so it might still be the same situation we had for years after all... and also, it wouldnt be the first time in humankind's history that a publisher announced something which didnt happen in the end.

im not saying at all, classic won't ever come, but this "so-called news" you're sharing now really aren't any news at all when we're talking about classic.

According to some new PMs I've received from a Russian user on Inova forums, Innova is under negotiations with Korea regarding platform requirements they need for the release of 8.3 patch.

Given a new platform is required for the release of a retail's patch, I am sure that this would also be including the classic fix. They're expecting it on June, latest july

Wait a second. So if these negotiations are not successful. Aion Retail can not be published anymore?

Which is why classic is inevitable :>

no idea where you got this conviction from that the classic fix is guaranteed the same thing as the retail fix. thats purely guessing form your side as far as i can see
