Unsure what makes you think that in my opinion retail is worth playing atm. I most likely hate it even more than you do, just that doesn't mean that I have to play classic no matter what, i just found some other (unrelated to NCSoft or Gameforge) alternatives.
Of course, that doesn't mean that I just have to play classic.
Only I want and as a customer I expect when I enter a shop and talk to the seller who can tell me whether I can get the product or not!

I took the weighted arithmetic mean of average salary in european countries (for people in age range 25-40 if possible, otherwise in general average) with weights being popularity of the brand according to gt. It surely can be more or less than actual average income of potential aion players, but I was unable to find anything more accurate.
Also for the money saving I took my experience with the target group of 25-35 in europe where the vast majority of customers cancel their subscription after 1 month of lower activness.
Also you're considering getting rid of 2 subscription given you will have something better to do (classic)
But it always depends on what people want to spend their money on, not what they can afford.
Maybe you don't understand (because too young), but when I look back at the months and know that I don't have time to play anyway, I can make cuts in the subscription and add it later
That does not mean that I stop completely (only spending my money at the right moment or saving is intelligent, everything else would not make sense). -
But TBH I don't think I could stay playing if the ping is really bad and I will miss sieges, maybe Russia is a better idea.
If the ping is really bad, I try exit lag or something else.
(if it works fine, then everything is OK)
I don't mind paying for a game for a couple of months (to have fun) even if I won't stay there.
If the ping to Russia is better, I can imagine a switch (but there should be problems with the IP blocking, according to other statements here).
Anyway, if GF doesn't make an official announcement this week I'll be out anyway.Anyone who wants classic could set an ultimatum here, otherwise GF thinks they could keep doing it forever.

When SOLO is going to flop they'll come back to Aion. It's going to be too late though, but I am sure a few hundred people will still be happy.
I'm not worried (at least not now that I have a choice of where to play.

When U will try start NA, could U write Ur standard ping while playing in NA? Because if 90-135 this ping - for me it is not a big difference. Some people were playing in KR region even with 250+ ping. Personally 250+ is too much, but...

Speaking for my self i will try NA Classic and if i like it i will pay 15 $ ( i never payed something to this company GF). I prefer P2P system than P2W .

However, you have to admit there weren't any in the beginning
translations in polish, turkish or whatever.
The game started with English, German and French.
And at that time we had to wait about a year to go to Korea for it to appear in the EU.
Because NC had taken the lead in the EU itself.
At that time my account on NC games was managed by NC Soft(where I already had an account for GW1 (all parts).
After that, only the expansion for Aion was added to this account, as well as several other games.

(*in German we had to agree that our Aion should be transferred to GF, in retrospect having agreed to a major error).btw: it has only been listed as...Service transfer !

i have 2 questions, did they added in Classic the options for the Asmodian to look more "normal" like in 5.0?

But you can read in the subtitles on the vid here (1:40) what they have changed ingame
in contrast to before .
And second, did they put a daily reset of instances like 9 pm, or weekly?
Must be weekly like in the beginning.

ja ich verstehe nur nicht warum dieses "Freemium" neu sein soll, für mich war das von Anfang an genau so wie in Korea gekommen ist.
Korea hat bereits genau so angefangen.
erste Woche alle umsonst alles frei, ab der zweiten Woche 1h/Tag & das haben die bis heute noch !
Es hat sich am Model also nichts verändert !
Ich werde mich sicher mal umschauen in NA
Wenn es mir so gut gefällt werde ich bleiben.
( ich brauche keine Raids oder tägliche Instanzen war schon immer einsamer Wolf in Aion )

because both used the same company that na still using today but gf doesn't seem willing to do that anymore... because players like it like that (excuse for cutting costs).
As I said before another company does the translations (not GF itself).
But if you save in the wrong place, you always get the bill afterwards !

One more reason for GF to switch to classic, but the boss who made the mistakes back then at GF, must still be in power

Also this has been thx to gameforge translations to other languages and promoting the game, i bet Aion EU wouldnt have had so many players if nc managed it tho. All have to be said, it wasnt that bad afterall.
But you know that it was NC who wrote the translations
before it was published in the EU?
And GF (in my opinion) never wrote translations of its own!
They got the translations from NC soft, but they always have to apply for and pay for it!
But that is my opinion (Unfortunately, I cannot prove suspicion)!
That is the reason because GF wanted to save money, we now have this screeching which no one can take, of course we can thank GF for earache.
So thank you for pissing off the players with the horrible ingame sounds!
