focus on the Orange questline u get in lakrum, it leads you trough all PvE instances that are relevant for you at the Moment, also gets you 1 best in Slot ultimative armour piece at the end, same goes for the pvp Version of the Orange quest 😊 also if im not mistaken u can read german, look up Kerrys, guide on 7.0 in the german forum, there are some usefull tips 😁

You cannot compete at all. +15 stigmas are ridiculously OP function, with bad transforms you are also screwed, you also need to spent ridiculous time to farm daeva skill books with multiple accounts to +15 those too. If you missed granker events etc, everything costs a hella lot kinah. Not to mention you'd need gear at +15 (which without events is pretty hard time consuming task too).If you still feel like doing it, good luck.
If you wanna just play mostly casually, and not compete in anyway in pvp or pve, then yes, you can have some fun time i guess?

yes i just want have fun i m not interested about competition. But despite all of theses problems you mentionned the game is still alive if i understand so i think i will continue to play. And do you have advices for sin ? i found the clas pretty difficult

Games are products, they're made in order to earn as much money as possible, not the bare minimum to pay wages, server costs etc.
Yet all the games that makes the most money in the world are never p2w games.
Look at world of warcraft. How many years as it been? 16? 17? I don't even know anymore. Their playerbase sure decreased, it is normal for every game, but they don't divide their population by 2 every year, why? because they have a long term strategy to earn money from the game, not trying to milk everyone till they quit.
You can say what you want, different game, different publisher, different monetization system, in the end, it's been proven that even the free to play model has a lot to offer and is making a lot of money as long as you don't fall into the p2w.
Sure, gameforge knows better how to make more money on a certain time frame, they are perfect at maximizing the profits they get today I have no doubts about that, except they're crashing their product and their future benefits by doing so.
Aion had a lot of potential, how many games can make their playerbase comes back to it many times despite the disappointment they get? Aion had everything to be a successful game, sure, it wouldn't be on the scale of wow/fortnite/league, but definitely way above games like black desert online, blade and soul, GW2 despite being older.
But everything has a limit, and most player's limit has been reached since a long time already, hence our empty servers and the tens of thousand of people that you can easily find on internet who would like to come back but never will because the current state of the game is just not the aion they love.
The responsibility is shared between ncsoft and GF.
The first drop of population is completely NC's fault, as they made many major changes in favor of the pve carebears which alienated the pvp/hybrid community (which was the majority at that time) they had after selling their game as a pvpve game (=get ready to fight mobs and players at the same time at any moment), first with 2.0 guards everywhere and extremely restricted pvp areas, then with 3.0 "90% safezones" maps. They should've made separate pvpve and pveonly servers if they wanted to appeal to both communities.
Then the second drop of population is 100% gameforge's fault for trying to milk the players more and more with every passing patch instead of doing their job which is the westernization of the game, which includes not multiplying the item prices by 10 and not let it become a casino like korea but instead keep a healthy game environment so that the game can appeal to newcomers and give the opportunity to returnees to come back to renew the playerbase.
Sure on a short term vision of 3 months, it brings less profit, on the long term tho that's the complete opposite, because 4 half dead servers of "heavy cashers" will never give as much money and security as 12 healthy servers of "casual cashers", not to mention that the bad reputation of the company will have an impact on their other games and many people won't even try them just because "it's gameforge so it's gonna be p2w".
