what I wanted to say and I didn't explain myself very well between 200 people who are against the p2w but who spend 10€ per month and 20 whales who spend 300-400€ per month it will often be the whales who will have the last word.
gf will choose the whale camp over the 200 players.
Thats for sure. And there are whales at retail server and there will be whales on classic server from first day.
tbh I thought of whaling on classic from day 1 but then I thought why should I play something I played before in the past just for the sake of nostalgia? kek business men on ncsoft won't trick me

I wouldnt mind paying for a game or to obtain things in-game but it HAS TO BE certain. Not RNG shite like what we have now. But yeah, I guess you can class that as P2W

I belive there's difference between p2w (pay 2 win, pay to progress faster) and "p2w" (gamble all your money to have small chance of obtaining desired item which is available pretty much only via gambling for over 2 years).
I agree with this. At least, if you p2w in classic lets say, you get what you are paying for. P2W in retail and it's a gamble...for example you pay 49AC for a 0.000000001 chance of an ulti contract. There's the difference.

AION Update 8.0 is now coming live soon. Introducing the new map Aspharanta.
AION Update 8.2 will follow soon, and will introduce an entirely new business model adopted by NCSoft with the purpose of attracting new players.
AION Classic is in the works of being released for EU sometime in 2022, AION Classic will follow a different update path and the lore of the game will be re-written.
Further down the line, AION: Remastered is in plans. A Cross-platform AION with new, updated graphics. Planned release between 2022 towards 2023.
Please note that AION Classic and AION Remastered are subject to change depending on the company's situation.

I heard from H.Ello that according to his source, developers are moving past 2.7 for Aion classic - they are re-writing the lore after 3.0.
This basically implies Aion Classic is a soft REBOOT of the game. Since 6.2 worked out very well kek.

How do I fix MyAion, when I click the launcher it just loads but then closes again.
1. Can you send me app logs? You can find it in location: %APPDATA%/MyAion/Logs
2. Did you install all required components?
- .Net Framework 4.8
- Npcap 1.10
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x64)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x86)
You can verify it in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features. If you are not sure if you have all C++ packages, you can use MyAion Full installer which contains .Net Framework 4.8 and all required C++ packages (but it doesn't contain Npcap - you need to install it separately).
3. Did you try to reinstall Npcap?
4. Did you try to uninstall and install MyAion again?

if there will be 8.0 i hope at least they won't just give us some reworked old maps and content .. im hoping for something better and new that would actually keep the people who still play this sh*t myself included...
