If you look on KR website there's even a guide for leveling from 1-80 for both sides.
Let say you're a newbie who never play Aion and level to 80 in 1 week then first instance is prometun's workshop you have 0 clue what to do in there,you need to search tho youtube or forums to find a decent guide.Why don't make it official ? by creating wiki zone and let everyone edit ?
It's not even about the instances, but your own char and how the game works overall, you can now get 1-80 in a few hours, what's a new player gonna do at max level without a clue about how to even play their own char? They keep jumping between the extremes.. up to 5.x the leveling pace was normal, there were things to do at every step of the way and you could learn everything, then it went insane where you needed a few months to reach 75, and then suddenly they change it make it in a few hours, pretty stupid.

A week? not even a month. Aion has become a big wall for like 95% of the playerbase. I started the game in 2009 betas with some off times, mostly after 5.x. This is my overall experience:
1.x to 4.x: the game was playable, there was increasing p2w and then a bridge between casual players and those with officer+ gear, but overall anyone could reach the top, or close to that without an insane abyss between the "top" (p2w) players. Besides expensive blue manastones, most stuff was achievable, you could progress your way through abyss gear, and pve gear to be able to do the higher instances of the current patch.
Well, actually 4.x started distancing the more p2w players from the rest with enchanted accessories, but overall it was an enjoyable game, there was some sense of achievement and progression.
Then things went from stupid to insane. I played though 5.x, a bit of 6.x and quit, there was no point spending months (or 20K+ euro/char for 3 days) to get level 75 while p2w whales enjoyed the game with a level of advantage over the rest never seen before in this game.
I slowly came back 2 months ago with 7.0, had to start over with my gear etc, re-learn everything that had changed, find out everything introduced in 5-6.x was gone etc..
I have 4-5 chars I play actively, few hours a day, sometimes nothing, but I do login and do a bit each day. I've managed to get them geared with legendary +5...10 with a few ultimates, some abyss gear, most of the daeva skills I wanted (by using 5 accounts with a few lvl80 chars and spamming Makarna alone), there is no way a casual player will ever get their daeva skills normally (and buying the chest off other players, if not scammed, = 10 euro each).
I've done HT, Makarna, PW, tried PW HM.. found out it's nearly impossible without the cubes patch we need, done stella easy, a few stella NM, but it's hard to find the right people for that. Senekta and Beninerk are out of my reach, there is no way I can ever achieve a fully +15 ultimate geared char for that unless I pour stupid amounts of money into the game or devote my life to a single char for a few months (I thought this was a game to have fun, not a job). But the worst? EVEN if I did that.. it's pointless, all the hard effort and money for what.. it becomes obsolete after only few months, what's the point? next patch there's yet better stuff, or worse, whole re-design again (think of stimas etc). +15 daeva skills.. hahah, who can do that? they often fail to enchant even at +1. +12 stigmas.. another money sink, heck, even +9 is not achievable by most players. Transforms? yeah I was lucky to get 1 lege from summer event, and 1 useless ancient, so far my atk speed classes are unplayable unless I have pots from Lugbug dailies.
Korea plays the game. We don't play it, we farm it (and for nothing).
With GF's model and implementation there is no point whatsoever in putting any effort or money into progressing your chars, it takes too long, too much, and by the time you grasp the light it's already become worthless.
1. Removal of the cash shop
Which basically means the removal of AION for EU since the subscription model failed. I hope we can stick to more serious suggestions

How did the sub model fail? can we get some revenue/net profit numbers from the years (2) before p2w kicked in?
None of this matters anyway, whatever you think, GF as a business will always do what -they think- will get them the most profits, not what the players want, because it's a monopoly with no other options (only 1 publisher), they know they can do what they want and people can't quit.
It will never happen, but since the very beginning of Aion I wanted a way to properly use the skins, maybe something like.. you "register" a skin, the item gets removed from inventory, and you can apply it to any char within your account, as many times you want, without altering the actual gear item (like a skin slot) and then be able to detach it later on to sell it or trade it (then you lose the appearance). I like to colllect skins and 99% of them sit unused in alt chars warehouses cause I don't wanna lose them.
Gear sets.. now Korea has up to 8 setups, hell, I can barely make space for 2 sets, where are you going to store 8 sets of gear? additional sets should disappear from inventory when you save them.
Grey items should disappear, they serve no purpose other than being an annoying pain in the a**, your inventory is almost full, you are hunting mobs for daily/weekly/w/e with auto-loot on and every few kills you need to sell this useless crap cause bags get full.
I'll leave a comment here to Korean developers what to do next.

It's a slap on the face to call these "events", 95% are just p2w cash traps.

Players would get rewards (choosable). Reward per month. Next months rewards are better and better, After one year of playing aion, player receive "x" op gift.
That's kinda how it worked when it started in 2009 with NCSoft, we paid a monthly sub and each extra month gave us some rewards, nothing OP, usually rez stones, some skin, can't remember exactly but nothing even remotely close to this p2w nonsense, and you couldn't buy the months in advance.
I want Verteron and abyss back.
KR players were stopping leveling past 55 and enjoyed pvp in those maps without p2w
Hm yeah I see. I used to have 2 lvl50 twinks for dredgion and arenas, in my server there were enough players for this and we were doing ddgs together etc, some were playing only twinks. It was fun, I still bought skins from shop and the wings which were best for 50, and played my mains to also support my 2 lil chars. Then they removed 50 arenas, and then everything else.

You will need multiple Odians to be able to use the Odian Skill. To enhance the skill, you will need to polish the Odian.
This is another copied system. About money. In that game, a level 6 gem was obtainable with around 2500-5000 usd and there are players running with a set of 6 of these, required to unlock a new skill.
This would all be exciting and what not if these things were relatively easy to "unlock", but just like Kaisinel, +15 stigmas, +15 Daeva skills; we will just spend a year trying to get these instead of actually playing and enjoying the game.
And by the time you are half-way there, it will be already obsolete.
And who will be such brave and enchant from +10 to +20 weapon with 0,4%, starting with try +11?

EXACTLY.. Aion is made for the korean region, with korean shop, with korean events and progression. The way GF gives it to us is just painful, the kind of gear and progression korean players are able to easily achieve is just a distant dream for most players here and when they finally get to grasp a little of it.. new content arrives and all their LONG. HARD efforts (mostly money for many) poofs into thin air.
As for xforms.. indeed, they lowered atk speed on weapons, removed it from gloves, removed it from harps, even took our 30 minute scrolls away, but didn't give us something in exchange. I gave up playing atk speed classes until I get a decent xform, it's just painful.

man it's a matter of preference, I too like Rainmeter, due to it's smaller and more compact, transparent UI which I got used to in the past and the fact that it doesn't force the .NET framework version on me (probably built with .NET Core) but there is no need to post stuff like this on Livo's thread... :\ you are free to use whichever u like
It's actually native x86 code, I don't use .NET, ARM will never require any .net framework to be installed.
