    Any chance the Cooldown for the Shop Item, that is needed to create the Ancient Contract gets cut in half? Otherwise it´s kinda Pointless.

    Right now it has a 1 Month cooldown, but if you do the Weekly Lugbug Quests until you have your Legendary shards and run those 2 Instances you could theoratically get an Ancient Transform every 2 Weeks.

    I think they already did that. Yesterday when I logged in the shop I got another ancient thingy, although I got one at the end of the last month and the cooldown is showing that the next one is at the end of the month.


    But I got another issue with this event, or GF feature, however you call it. They claim they're preparing for 7.5 but while doing that, they didn't notice the changes. One of them being that narakkalli solo is removed from the game, so it's another thing that will break, like other GF features because of updates. Then the fragments can be bought on each character, limited daily of course, but in the end all you have to do is to get your shop thingy each month, or every 2 weeks now for ancient. This farming is pointless because all I have to do is stack the shop breath items in account warehouse and just buy the memory fragments every day on alts in the future 7.5 patch, and do it all at once.


    I'm not even interested in this game that much anymore and I still know more stuff than they do, with them having the update at their disposal to test it. Small things that could be important at some point, or what they do it's plain pointless. Whatever they add as a future, it is mostly something that was useful a year before, not in the current patches, and they continue to do the same mistake all the time. They need people over there to communicate with NC and see what they did in the current patches (or read their weekly patch notes), or ask what they will do in the future, and change based on that. Instead they act on past feedback posted a year ago, and with the game continuously changing, most of the things outdated. Strange, since the shop is always updated for the current patches.

    What are the 3 alchemium good for?

    Nobody is crafting PvE weapons or accessories anymore because the broker is flooded with them from events. The armor is better from events, or just play the instances until you get your good rng drop. Nobody is crafting PvP gear, not only because it's outdated but the fragments you obtain from extracting are easier to get elsewhere and through account warehouse with alts. What else is there to craft? Manastones, but the fragments can't be shared through account warehouse like all the other materials and the manastones you get are very random. Nobody bothers with crafting.

    That's a currency that can't be controlled. I'm talking about something that already exist, something like shugo gold, that has a fixed amount every week. Instances are limited, unless you want to pay 40 luna for them, but in theory the number is limited so the drop limited as well, for whatever currency they may put in them. Kinah can be traded from other accounts or from players through broker, and the amount everyone can farm varies a lot.

    And thats all? Ancient form? At this point ancient form?!

    Combat RNG with more RNG.

    Can you guys consider not going this route? Last 3 attempts were 6x ancients and all gave me back another ancient. That is 16 ancient contracts, and considering you get one every month or sometimes another one from an event once in a while, it takes a very very long time.


    I get the idea. This is a test. However, you can give us ancient contracts and there could be still no progress done because they all fail. This is probably why in KR they made that event where you get a sure ultimate contract if you make 3 attempts of fusing, and it doesn't matter if they fail. NA already considered these things before us. This is why prior to 7.3 in NA you could get one ancient contract every week with luna and now after 7.3 you can get a legendary every week if you put in the effort. For legendaries, the chance is lower than in the case of ancients and it takes a very long time to get to a fusing point, only to get another legendary that you have instead of a new one for collections. The list of legendary transforms goes longer and longer with each patch. Initially there were only a few, 7 or something, then 10, then more till today when we have 21. In 7.5 they have around 33. Not only that the chance at collections is getting smaller but the chance at ultimate also goes smaller because it will be harder to get a duplicate you have if you fail.


    This is not just about contracts. You can give us lots of legendary enchant stones but in the end they all fail and the amount of ultimate enchantment stones we can morph is always 4 and they can all fail. The only solution is 100% stones like in those gifts at some past event. This is the case with everything in this game. There is absolutely no progression for lots of the things in this game, even if you farm toward it for a year, then see your efforts vanishing and defeated by rng.


    So better consider a simpler solution. Instead of adding different items to different instances, just make one universal currency that can drop in instances, like shugo gold, and put the items you want to give us in the vending machine. It's easier to adjust the items, which should be something valuable for this patch and not one year ago, and adjust their prices this way and you let everyone choose what to get. By something valuable for this patch, it should be things that you work towards it. Like essences for daevanion skills, as they are still rng but at least you don't lose progression. Then stigmas, as enchanting stigmas was introduced in 5.x and at this point where some players got +15 stigmas, some don't manage to get the bare minimum, which should be +9.


    In the end I have my fair share of skepticism. Platinerk supposed to be the next big thing and a promise, there is nothing mentioned anymore. Hero Trials supposed to make us achieve things, it's abandoned and brought up only during some events. World drop supposed to give us something but it's so rng and time consuming that you're better off not doing it. Now this drop in instances is the new thing, which we shall see.

    Also I strongly disagree that no one goes to Hidden minionite, that's not what the numbers say ;)

    People are doing it but not the path you're forcing us, with the mix box. If you get the cleric class inside, have fun playing the instance.

    As far as I know the morph recipes was always supposed to provide items on top but it was never desired that this would be unlimited. I think that is the reason why it was changed to shugo gold. That being said, I already reported the feedback about it this morning.

    But it wasn't unlimited. First of all, the morphing crystals are controlled by you guys, because they don't exist in KR. So the amount could always be whatever you guys want them to be in the quests. Second of all, it's limited by the limited amount of enchantment stones we have in the game. There simply isn't an unlimited amount of enchant stones. They are in fact very limited.


    Anyway, it doesn't matter the reason you guys give us for changing it, it's clearly not working for players and the players want a change. So we want to hear if there will be any change to it, or a lot of players wouldn't be able to have both vending machine items and enchantment stones.


    And to finish this post. If it's on top of everything we have, can you point us to the source of ultimate pvp enchantment stones in the game?

    Sorcerers and Assassins were pretty close to Painter damage in some situations. It's probably not a fair comparison. The fact that you could put a 30% debuff and a band on top, it was lazy and stupid designed and I agree that it was overlooked for too long.


    I partially agree with Yoo, lower to average painter is dead. To achieve the same power you need to invest in your stigmas and daevanion skills. This is the downside of a painter, it's very p2w oriented. All their good skills are hidden behind stigmas and daevanion skills. It's not the only class like that but it's the most visible, because their basic toolkit is severely lacking. If you don't have those stigmas and daevanion skills, you're mediocre at best. What do you do if you have under +9 stigmas? Not only missing good skills, dps included, but you have to deal with the long cooldows on stigmas. Having a painter with 2 minutes cd on their into the black stigma, comparing with someone with 42 seconds cd on it, or their big dps stigmas like colour fist or colour fight or the improved vision monster. It's ridiculous how big the difference is. Assassins are a bit in the same, as good skills are hidden behind daevanion skills, although their stigmas are less relevant and they are more versatile in this way.

    Painter is still strong but you need all those things that we don't have in EU.

    That sounds a bit incorrect, different things were implemented over the last months, not everything for sure but saying nothing was added is just incorrect. I encourage you to check the last 8 -9 months news and changes.


    Nonetheless, yes more changes are coming.

    Excuse me but most of these are not changes that benefit the players. Most of them should have been done from the start but always end up being added when it's not needed much anymore. Changing mophing recipes? As soon as there is a source of fragments in the game, through alts and account warehouse, you guys changed the recipes to use gold shugo, which is a limited resource and not farmable in the game. And don't tell us you will add them in events, because we know where those promises ended and we saw how these events work.

    But you are the first one who criticize some facts instead of crying and asking for another free gift.

    I don't know why do you think that. I barely posted this year. I'm not that much interested like before in wasting my time to explain them what they did wrong and explaining them where their incompetence shows. I did reply with normal feedback after the events were over. Strange is, even now when I'm less vocal, they find some of my valid post, with no foul language or anything that others use and get away with it, censor it and ban me for it. They solved serious game problems with silencing players.


    Anyway, I did not ask anything for free. I did not ask for giving me the most valuable stuff. In fact I don't think temporary events should fix the broken game, because if you miss some, you're setting yourself behind others. But we do get events and they want us to play them, and I leave a feedback on them. A lot of the times I get more frustrated with them than without them but I try to leave reasonable feedback. While others choose to see the one free thing they got from it and be happy about it, I choose to see all those points you underlined, no matter if I got, lets say Marchutan from it, as it's not the point. They shouldn't run events in this manner and we told them over and over again. It's not about free stuff, as I'm not even the one asking every day for stuff, but I do want a somewhat balanced game where ingame stuff is obtainable in the game and not through the shop or events.

    Then it´s their own fault for not informing themselves.

    Please, please stop protecting players who want everything for free for not doing anything.

    But you did get most of them for doing nothing, because the event was busted from the start.


    Unlike the people managing this game and who had the time to prepare it and test it in advance, players did a quick calculation of the amount needed right when the servers were up. It didn't add up, as you had to run thousands of instances. There was a big confusion and some already gave up on the event, right from the start, as there was no transparency on the whole thing. They said the remaining amount will be obtainable with a second event, through lugbug. That was busted as well and they had to put more through a third event, through the hero trials. Hero trials went untested as well. If you don't have KR stats, you were just one shot.


    I don't have to explain it, as everyone knows it was a mess and they had to gift most of them in order to get just one, although they had to run this through few events to achieve it. For one single try. It's not the fault of the players for not informing themselves, it's the fault of this confusion created right from the start. Then you add the fact that these were not event quest items but clickable things you could waste, and they are in the shop as well, but that's another story.


    I've never played any other game that had to put players through different separate events just to acquire one, just one, rng reward. This is not about free stuff or players being lazy. It's not about the reward itself or its own value either. It's about organization, or the lack of it in this case. At the end of it, voila, you are happy that after all this marathon you got one reward from this promo event. At the end of it you expect me to what, give them a big round of applause?

    You can see his magic accuracy is very high, without his buff, so I don't know if MR works.

    I sure do know that I wouldn't go near it if it has DP and other buffs on (against geared player).

    It's a bit more than slightly imo. This guy has a full +8, one part +7, and look at the offensive stats and the defensive stats. Our gear with pvp attack combined is worse, but it's unfair to compare with that guy with additional stats. On the other hand, that guy has a full +15 old set as well and it was more than 2k of attack combined when he switched.


    edit: I forgot to mention the huge HP buff.

    In 5.0 patch was the bigest difference in history of aion in compare to f2p and p2w players.IDK WHICH GAME YOU ARE PLAYING. unlimited enchanting omg.

    They limited the enchantment to +15 now. Some of the players already have +10 and the stats difference is huge.


    Regarding 5.8, I agree that it was better than this. It was filled with lots of p2w features but lots of f2p players managed to be just as good as p2w players. Do that in current Aion, if you can. And gear difference, which was arguably the biggest problem for many, wasn't that big. Today from +10 to +15 is a huge difference in stats, unlike older +15 to +20.

    KR did provide with their events a minimum enchanted stigma, a one time quest per event per character. Initially it was a +8 in 6.0 then later it was a +9 for exchanging a fixed amount of stigma enchantment stones. A +12 was also provided later on with some other pink event quest, but it wasn't cheap. We are very far behind in these stigma events that took place every 3 months in KR and provided them better stigmas step by step. Another reason why we see the discrepancy with EU. Some are still trying to get theirs to +9 while others stockpiled for making their +12 to +15.

    is not only russian only, it was and korean like that safe points at +9 and +12 in 7.2.3 patch :P (you can see it in many korean videos in youtube they was safe point on +9 +12 in 7.3 when they was try to make stigma on +15 :P


    lets hope they will do it and here and not have something random rng :P

    I'm not sure about later patches of 7.2 because KR had a lot of these stigma events every few months but they do have the +9 and +12 safe spots in 7.5.


    Opening green slots might not be essentials for all classes but there is one, reduced cooldowns, therefore a slight increase even in pve dps. Opening a third one is a huge deal for every class, along with lower cooldowns. Ultimately, at +15 is not only reduced cooldowns but a huge boost in skill damage after you upgrade your +15 stigmas to gold stigmas.

    NCSoft is predictable at this point. The usual is copy pasting stuff from the other games already developed by them. Then destroying a few maps and restore one with each update. I said randomly a few months ago (rant) about continuously adding empyrean lords as ultimate transforms in the future. What did they do? Added more ultimate transforms. That was an easy prediction. I remember when minions were added, players asked jokingly when are the S rank coming. I think they left things unfinished like that on purpose, to be added later as new content. We have only yellow and purple daevanion skills, there is room for red ones. We have only white, green, blue and yellow stigmas, why not add red ones? New levels and new gear to be farmed, because why not, it's a big new patch and they tend to do that every other big patch. That on top of every system that is kept in the game and consume more and more time to complete it (daevanion skills, stigma skills, cubes, collections stats, transforms, s minions, enchanting your active skills and transforms with runes and odians and so on). Someone starting Aion new, in 2020, has no chance to play this game competitively.

    I can see the point NC is trying to make. I think they want to move away from having one healer class in the game that does everything, because it would make other classes obsolete. For too many years players in Aion went 5 dps and one healer (cleric) in regular instance, and a class like chanter was ignored. Then for a short time chanter's heal was op and nobody needed a cleric. I think this way they want to separate the roles, having chanter for aoe heals in between attacks and cleric for emergencies and dispels in between attacks. Bard can also support the group. In KR you see most pvp and pve groups having both cleric and chanter and the cleric is never just a healing bot, they attack like everyone else and use emergency skills when needed. It sucks for those that chose cleric as a do it all support class and wanted to have every single kit that a healer has in other games, where there is a only a main healer.


    On the other hand this balance is done based on KR gameplay, where a lot of them reached endgame in terms of achievements. You see clerics outlasting every class if you give them the time, and doing an insane amount of damage in pvp. But this is rarely the case here in EU where most players never completed one pvp set, and talking about second or third pvp set is out of the question. You don't see many clerics here running around with +15 stigmas and an ultimate transform (huge boost). While our concerns might be legitimate, there is nothing we can do. The game was meant to be played like it is in KR, not like here where your goal is to farm years for a full pvp set and don't enjoy much of the pvp until then because of the imbalance.

    Do you know that Private Servers are illegal?

    Guess what, every single Russian Server is a Private one, now count 1+1 together :)

    They do have one legal publisher and it's just like Gameforge for Europe.

    We will never get something like that, as RU had similar events in the past, and we didn't get them.


    Back to this current event. If I understood correctly, if you do all the instances and lugbug you get your 20 thingy. That means doing all of them, including PW HM. Right? That's just trimming out a lot of players and the few that might get the reward will end up with something random from that list. At least this is what I understood from the official info posted so far.


    I personally wouldn't mind repeated or older events, that have been tested before, instead of constantly bringing up new events that don't work in the way it was intended. Only KR server can keep up with their events because it's related to their current content. You can not split a patch so far apart and bring an event that was designed for 7.2. The time between initial release of 7.2 in KR and the new cube patch was quite short, followed by S rank minions and the rest. They have solid stats from their premium account, adding luna buff, boss cubes and S minions stats, lots of cheap jellies from the shop. Not counting that many have collections already, and an ultimate transform. Of course they have superior stats and able to finish current patch content a lot easier than us. You guys should have pull out one of those statistics, with how many players from the current active players finished that second boss. I don't want to say more but there are things to be considered before releasing an event. Or I'm just wasting my time trying to give feedback once again, when the event missed the promo tag, which is not the first time that happened.
