Display MoreDisplay MoreNew daeva's tavern caught my attention. It was already known to be a bad patch, why make it worse than we have it now? Never mind, this is the reason why you don't see that many players around anymore.
11:25 in the video "and then the instance gear drops in prometun, stella, makarna, these will have their gear drops removed aswell"
In 7.2 we got a huge nerf in items, and basically kinah income, in instances. A lot have quit and others were very upset. Therefore GF added additional kinah and previous drop list of items in those instance.
AION 7.2 feedback and necessary adjustments.
Now they remove this feature with 7.5. Basically pointless to spam those instances to make kinah. Someone from the newly added and deserted server can probably confirm this as I have no idea since I don't play.
Good job with Aion! You're really trying hard to bring players back with each patch.
You get instance coins tho that you can use to buy kinah, and items of those istances with.
(No idea if its even close to what we can currently get tho)
You should add less RNG in Deava and Stigma enchanting as perm, instead of gear. Gear is easy, if you work for it, you 100% will have it. Stigmas, not so much. Its very simple to fail massive excessive amounts of time, work and kinah on single stigma enchanting process, also its the current most OP function breaking level field.
(added, since kinah sources are extremely nerfed, nobody should complain about making more stig ench avaiable / increased succeed as it would be impossible to farm kinah caps for multiple accounts when all sources are nerfed tenfold.)
From my understanding, you can buy pve gear, which is already the easiest thing to achieve in Aion. It's quite interesting that for many years we had multiple dungeons and options to get good gear, even solo with daily coin quests, and then later they decided to remove more and more options since 6.0. Now they come at us saying, here guys, we give you gear. Then proceed to give themselves a pat on the shoulder for the good job they did this patch as well.
I agree. They should definitely add items that matter. With more time passing with each patch and more broken features added, it's harder and harder for someone to come back and put in the time for each thing, going through the horrible experience of rng. And lets not forget about those that want to start new, if there is any. But players nowadays seems to be happy even with scraps. An event with 30% chance of success and 70% chance of failure? Everyone proceed to burn through items and perhaps their rl money, because this is so good, right? This is how low this game got to. Anyway, our complains very rarely changed anything.
