From my understanding, you can buy pve gear, which is already the easiest thing to achieve in Aion. It's quite interesting that for many years we had multiple dungeons and options to get good gear, even solo with daily coin quests, and then later they decided to remove more and more options since 6.0. Now they come at us saying, here guys, we give you gear. Then proceed to give themselves a pat on the shoulder for the good job they did this patch as well.

I agree. They should definitely add items that matter. With more time passing with each patch and more broken features added, it's harder and harder for someone to come back and put in the time for each thing, going through the horrible experience of rng. And lets not forget about those that want to start new, if there is any. But players nowadays seems to be happy even with scraps. An event with 30% chance of success and 70% chance of failure? Everyone proceed to burn through items and perhaps their rl money, because this is so good, right? This is how low this game got to. Anyway, our complains very rarely changed anything.

New daeva's tavern caught my attention. It was already known to be a bad patch, why make it worse than we have it now? Never mind, this is the reason why you don't see that many players around anymore.

11:25 in the video "and then the instance gear drops in prometun, stella, makarna, these will have their gear drops removed aswell"

In 7.2 we got a huge nerf in items, and basically kinah income, in instances. A lot have quit and others were very upset. Therefore GF added additional kinah and previous drop list of items in those instance.

AION 7.2 feedback and necessary adjustments.

Now they remove this feature with 7.5. Basically pointless to spam those instances to make kinah. Someone from the newly added and deserted server can probably confirm this as I have no idea since I don't play.

Good job with Aion! You're really trying hard to bring players back with each patch.

People complaining about free stuff again.

    sigh

Sorry but not everyone is under their twenties and have 16 hours a day to play this game, right now when they got sent home from school for indefinite time.

But for the rest of us, it's another insult. Wasting our already little time because, for whatever reason that we don't care, you retracted the event for now. I don't care if it's reset again, it will give everyone a bitter taste. An event that is a month long with double resets of quests each week, and you have to do it because the good rewards are always in events and if you miss them you are screwed, and do it along with other ingame activities, is really taking too long.

You know that is not the first time, or the second time, when you screwed hero trials when you tried to make them into events. I still remember very well the chocolate screw up last year from hero trials and others like that. And when it comes to events, there is not a single event since months ago that wasn't broken in some way and needed fixing. You guys should work on that before bombarding us with lots of events, meant only to waste our time but keeping the mirage that we could get something from them.

IMO it's obvious they realized that players are finally getting their +9 stigmas, something that should have been done since 2 years ago. And people act that +9 stigma should have been only available after years of playing this game.

Flash portrait can work but it can be dispelled, so it can be a wasted a skill in some cases. And it has longer cooldown. Neither of them is superior in that build, so it's down to preference imo. I was hoping the other build would be just as useful, but Aion right now is mostly about going full in.

We still cannot compare with KR. We have an abysmal amount of events compared with them, and ours seems to be westernized, meaning lower output. Our last stigma event (2nd time), it was the initial KR stigma event from the beginning of their 6.x. Their +8 was easy to buy, with very cheaper stigmas. Later they got +9 sure quest, then +12. Last year I was seeing someone searching through their broker, they had plenty of +12 stigmas at 200-400kk kinah. Bringing that event every 3 months or so, makes things cheaper even for the rest. If you look at videos now, there is almost no random enemy that fight that doesn't have a buff with the new icons, meaning +15 and upgraded. Same thing happened with their books and essences. I think the difference between them is whoever have their DP daevanion skills at +15 and who doesn't, through p2w, while here the difference is between players with a few at +15 vs players stuck at +7/+10.

I mean, there are other threads to discuss why this is happening but the result is this, with a bigger discrepancy between our players than what they have in KR. It's more important for many classes to have their +15 stigmas or their daevanion at +15, more important than having kaisinel or not. I must have been between the few who didn't vote transforms at that poll we had, but it was pointless to vote anyway.

Yes you can have all those stigmas on you

    https://aiondb.ru/tools/stigmabuild/2192/

wont even bother reading the rest as the first part is already 100% bs

I already have all the stigmas +12 and higher. I know what can you equip or not. It's interesting how you used one useless stigma and left out a useful one. Still doesn't explain where you get your paralyze from, unless you plan to waste your RS against some classes. And as you can see, even for this build you need +12 or higher stigmas, something that most players out there don't have. Do you even have this build yourself, or just posting theoretically?

And everyone can have self heal with the new blessed weapons, including painters obviously, but this makes some other classes, which were already hard to kill, even harder to kill.

failboat go play sorc in eu without ult form and tell me how funny it is, better play sorc without +15 stigmas and ult form, thanku

That was exactly my point. And there are even more mechanics out that prevents classes from reaching their potential, and therefore having this bigger discrepancy.

But this is a painter thread anyway, so let's leave it like that.

    It does not break.

The boxes you mentioned, that you buy in lakrum for genesis crystals, same as the one from Inngison, can break into some powder, used after to create some new enchants that can be used to improve runes.

Funny guy you are. You know that for a fact? That is only your personal opinion and nothing else. You don't know what I do in the game but go ahead and guess it wrong once again. Don't be bitter just because I don't bring you the new info anymore, the one that others miss it, which you by yourself were drooling over it.

Who cares about dps? You! That's the whole point of your initial post, carrying only about damage and dps. And I had to explain it to you why classes aren't just about dps.

Painter's toolkit is the best? Yes, if you have all those skills on you, like 15 stigmas you listed, basically all the useful ones, all equipped. Nobody can have all you listed in one build. I can say the same about sorc, list 15 stigmas with all the damage and cc they bring, and say that it has the best toolkit. Because why not, as once you used remove shock and get slept on it, you can enjoy your permanent stun until kissing the carpet. But no, sorc still seems bottom tier class in a 1v1 to you. Perhaps if they bring 1 shot mechanics like in 3.0, or 2 shots like in 4.0, you would finally consider sorc being on higher rank.

The fact that I play sm from the start up to these days, and you tell me ranger is not a sm killer, I don't know what to say to you other than you lack pvp experience. Assassins were always more manageable even when their burst is higher than rangers, but they are melee. Obviously that now debuffs are mostly nerfed, it doesn't slow the assassins down to a turtle anymore, but rangers have been harder to manage than assassins. Nobody disagrees that bard is strong vs sm, that has been the case since almost the start. And here is the toolkit the ranger can use (video for explanation, not a real pvp video), and what to expect when EU players manage to get all this stuff.

How am I trying to discredit players when I know for a fact that some that agree with you are in that position? I also spent time in this game, learning and playing every class for a bit, just to learn how to counter. There is no meta in our version of our game. It's whoever is the most lucky player or whoever spend the most in the shop. It depends too much on many factors that is beyond our control. We don't have an even playing field since late 4.x.

KR does have an even playing field in comparison, as there is a community of players that try to maximize, and had everything in 7.2 and pvp'ed among themselves. The fact that there are still many can't reach that without p2w, it doesn't change this. In EU we have a much much smaller amount that are like that, and the discrepancy between themselves is bigger, with more rng involved.

How can you even consider it a meta when one guy has all there is put next to ten other pvp players that are not even close to him? Why bring that guy up as an example and make us believe we are on even field comparing with other classes? Aside from you failing at trolling, this is a serious question, as there is no true comparison for EU. One guy has the gear but not the stigmas, others have the stigmas but not the daevanion skills, others don't have the collections, others don't have S minion and the list goes on. Until we have these, there is no even field on EU, therefore no true meta.

You know that trolling is against the forum rules, right? Anyway, when you take the time to write numbers, you're actually taking time to compare stuff for real. I just showed you that when you do that, it's showing some lack of understanding of some things. And your excuse, I'm 100% trolling.

That was not the point. No matter how you compare the stigma skills between them, a class is not represented by just its stigmas. Some classes have their essential skills on their basic toolkit, others rely heavily on stigmas. Some have more default skills, others just few skills. If I have to repeat this a third time, to actually understand each class is different, then we have a problem.

I didn't disagree with the laser nerf so far. I disagree with those tons of skills you mentioned. You have like four essential skills that you do then you wait for cooldowns, and use fillers in between. I played enough of other classes for years to know and compare, and say that painter is severely lacking skills, especially if you don't have +9 stigmas. Those tons of skills are non existent.

If a KR person says so? Then go ahead and watch the streams, and actually talk to those competitive players. Just because on our servers all the competent sorcs we had in the past left the game for good, and the remaining active players struggle to get their stuff done, it doesn't mean the class is bottom tier. A class also need a player that know what to do, behind it.

There is a reason I keep mentioning KR, it's because balance is done after you have everything, and a lot of them have everything. It's an even field, unlike EU where there is a big discrepancy between players. We have a copy/paste of the same classes, with the same skills and mechanics, but we don't have the meaning to get there. It's also hard to say the word balance, as in today's Aion it means everyone has the chance to obliterate other player. When it's not balanced, it means it's one sided.

If there was and there is a class that can one shot other classes, that is only AT so far. If you have the new minion buff, all the HP/defensive cubes, collections, gear rolled right, you don't get one shot. Not even in KR was close to one shot in 7.2. But your point stands. Given the opportunity, which is rare, the skill does a lot of damage. A lot of the classes are like that, as it's the new Aion. Even defensive classes like templar or chanter can go full buffed and kill someone in a few seconds, given the opportunity. Compared with the old Aion, this is totally out of control. But lets not portray that Painter is actually the only broken class in this game. Even your bottom tier sorc can do more dps in PvP than a Painter.

I don't know why you put SM on that list so high. Probably biased against your class. No good cleric is getting killed by a SM. Rangers can also win against SM. Even the poor chanter is no longer a permanent rolling mob against SM, like it was in the past. SM got nerfs of its debuffs, chanter got more defensive, better heal and dispels. It can be an even match these days.

Thanks for telling stuff about myself when you don't even know me. Most of you commenting here, don't even own a PvP set. Some of you hate the PvP and all you do is PvE. So trying to inform myself, beyond what I experience every day in this game, and trying to understand why some things are like this or that, is drooling at KT players? I've read enough of your posts in the past to know that you're not knowledgeable yourself, but nice try, shifting your own experience on me.

Seeing that you actually used numbers in your response to the guy above, who has no clue about the game, your understanding of Aion seems just as much as that guy.

The game itself is not about just damage. It's pointless to compare numbers because classes are different, we're not copy/paste of one class. Why would you want a cleric, a chanter or a templar, to have a skill with similar damage? Skills do not compare themselves because even if some have less damage, they have different cooldowns, some are instant, some are charged, other classes have more skills, other classes wear different armor and so on.

That 16.575/14.918 is just wishful thinking, as you can count of fingers the number of painters in EU with complete improved stigmas. The rest of them have it at 9750, at level 3 charge. Yeah, it's a charge skill. Good luck using it in PvP against decent players. Compared with the bard skill, that you said it has half the damage of painter's skill, the painter one is a charge skill, and has more than double the cooldown of the bard skill. There is just one comparison that throw this whole calculation out of the window. A gladiator has more defensive capabilities, can survive more in pvp and to more enemies attacking it, due to its better defensive skills and being actually a plate instead of cloth. And gladiator has vow of charge, which can wreck any player in 2 seconds if the other guy is not prepared. A chanter of the same caliber (so basically a KR one), using its defensive skill, can survive any full buffed Painter attack and not make a dent in its HP. Chanter also have better cc skills, capable of disabling any strong Painter attack.

We can go the same with every class but the point is, we're comparing apples with potatoes. It's no mystery that painter is strong if you have all that you need, but so are the other classes. A gunner or a bard is just as strong. In KR, where they have a more even field with gear and skills, players complain about clerics and templars being very strong for quite a few patches. Those are classes that outlast any dps class in arenas. Some other KR players said that Sorcerer is the only one unbeatable in 1v1 since the creation of this game, a class that is considered C tier in EU. Nobody ever mention assassins, a god tier class in KR, which is the only class that can go through a templar or chanter so fast when it's buffed. But good thing you can count on fingers the number of those playing this class and have everything that this game is offering. We see big discrepancies in EU because of the inequality, a huge discrepancy between players, their gear, cubes, collections, minions, transforms, stigmas, potions, jellies and what not.

So next time, work better on the trolling skills of the poor guy, who I think it's new, instead of showing off the lack of understanding a few of the things about this game.

you can buy 4400 quna for 99000 credits, just dunno how much those credits costs

Around 75 euros, more or less. But it doesn't matter if you want to compare, their average salary is also a few times higher than the majority of countries in Europe. So not only their shop is way cheaper in general than ours (enchants, contracts etc) but they have more money that they can spend, therefore encouraged to spend (if that's a good or a bad thing).

koreans make pretty much as much as Germans.
Unless they are women. Then they make half.

But that's the point, isn't it? Why is the shop so much more expensive in DE, by a few times compared with KR, if they are pretty much the same?

And on the other hand, Germany is not EU, and the price adjustment for coins by country is kind of a joke, considering that the majority of Europe (33 out of 39 countries) is below Germany, and that the majority of them are way below if you consider the cost of living, inequality etc. If I want to spend 10-15 euros monthly, like you would spend on other similar games that have subscriptions, and which is still significant money in half the Europe, there is nothing much you can buy. You either go full in, meaning a few thousands now and then, or don't spend anything at all. Our shop stuff is further hidden in other boxes and stuff. I don't know, this is my personal opinion, but for me, it never made much sense. A region more hardcore than KR itself, no matter if it's the cash shop or the game itself. And look at those KR events. The stigma event itself was every few months or so in KR, for a few times already, while we had it only for 2 times and so far apart.

Doing the instance every day on my main, first time we got the event, I got only 2 hammers for the whole period of time. The event was great because of hammers in the gold sand shop. Players didn't bother with the instance and didn't see how bad it was, only now after they removed the hammers from the gold sand shop. The event is basically the same, with renewed rewards, but kept the same drop rate and removed the hammers from the shop. From my own experience, it's pointless to do it.

It is never a copy paste event, in any event I have compared. You see there 100 healing pots in KR and 50 for us, or 3 ultimate enchantment stone in KR and 1 for US. Westernizing the game, indeed.

btw since u publisher's dont play the game, i'll be that kind to update you.

We're currently having 21 Legendary Transformations in the game, not ''10''.

If they add the 18 types legendary contract, as it will come later in this game as in KR, then you will have a lower chance to get a duplicate. It's very useful for achieving higher collections and better transforms (apostles) but it will lower your chance of getting duplicates to fuse them.

    Great video! It's P2W only?

GP can be considered as p2w, if we speak about other regions. For example, in NA and RU it's untradable and there's no other way to get it, except spending real money. Meanwhile in EU Gold Pack can be brokered and you can even give it to other players via old trade window.

I don't know how it is now for RU but in NA is not the same since 6.x. They removed the pack and added one called prestige pass.

Both 30 days and 90 days (cheaper than 3x 30 days) passes can be traded or put on broker.

    EozaxUG.jpg

In the ingame shop you can see can be brokered, and the benefits.

However, there are no reason for you to actually buy one in NA except for increasing character count from 8 to 12, and that can be done withing 7 days with the free 7 days prestige pass you receive on your new account. Create your characters and level up whenever you want. In EU there is no way to increase characters from 2 to 12 with the free 7 days GP active.

If you have prestige pass active, you receive coins for logging in, hunting mobs or do special quests, coins that can be used on their vending machine. In EU they opted out to have coins exclusive to the weekly login, with no option to farm them from mobs or do quests to obtain them, and pick up the rewards of your choice at the vending machine. They went another route, adding direct drop to mobs instead of coins, but they are heavy rng and the chance to get what you want is very random. And you have to fight bots because bots receive rewards regardless if they have GP active or not, while prestige coins can only be seen on drops for prestige users.

They don't enable trade or broker because trade and broker was never limited in NA if you didn't have the pack.

Instance entries in EU are limited if you don't have GP active, and normal entries with GP active. In NA you have normal entries without prestige pass and boosted entries with prestige pass.

Luna currency is increasing by 10 every week in EU, with GP active. In NA they can craft their own luna currency and not put up as a p2w features, therefore you can roll all the stats you need on gear for free.

Except the siege benefits, if you care about ranking, which is resetting with seasons, there is no need to buy prestige pass.

I don't even know what is that all about. Client modification could mean everything, from heavy stuff to using a dps meter that is enabling chat log to read dps, or those people tired of having long login screens every time they launch the game, which can be fixed in one file. And there is the case of the game client not updating properly, not even using the file check button, and you get an older version of some things.

Any chance the Cooldown for the Shop Item, that is needed to create the Ancient Contract gets cut in half? Otherwise it´s kinda Pointless.

Right now it has a 1 Month cooldown, but if you do the Weekly Lugbug Quests until you have your Legendary shards and run those 2 Instances you could theoratically get an Ancient Transform every 2 Weeks.

I think they already did that. Yesterday when I logged in the shop I got another ancient thingy, although I got one at the end of the last month and the cooldown is showing that the next one is at the end of the month.

Well, i did send me one yesterday, and it said is has 19 Days CD, just like the Legendary one.

I think you're right, I didn't check it again. Then the cd is more than 2 weeks. I guess they will fix it because on the official post it says

    Quote

In addition, you can pick up 2x Ancient Breath of Transformation for free every month in the AION Shop.

edit: so it's just 2 every month instead of 1.
