Because for you, cooldowns so short that everyone can just waste their most powerful skills without consequences is a quality of life?

Atkspeed so fast with short cooldowns that the game only amounts to whoever has the most burst is what you enjoy?

Those are the reason why class balance is complete trash now.

Atleast back then the long cooldowns focused the fight more on outplaying your opponent than just facerolling your head on the keyboard.

And the atkspeed wasn't any slower than in 5.8, you have candies title 8% gloves 9% scrolls 19% weapon. You just don't have the stupid transformations that give everyone max atkspeed/cast speed/run speed which actually makes atkspeed and run speed buff relevant as they should be.

The only thing I can agree with is the 15s CD on scrolls, but it's a small price to pay for all the game quality we get back.

    - I don´t need highest fps, it would be fine if i could run it with like 30-45 fps in biggest raid crowds

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH <...>

Even if you invest 10.000€ in your PC, you won't have 30/45fps in the middle of raids.

My pc is ~1400€ with OC cpu and i'm running with 4~8fps in prades when both factions are in.

Best you can do for aion if you don't wanna invest much is to take a CPU with a really good single thread performance and OC capabilities, but not so many cores, like the I3-9350KF, have 8go RAM, graphics card doesn't need to be awesome, aion is not GPU heavy, so you can take any video game card around 100/130€ and that will do it, don't try to buy the latest generation, you can take a GTX 950/960 if you find a cheap one it's more than enough.

Anyway, if you want something optimized for aion, you need a custom build, if you already built pc in the past then you know how to do it, better do it yourself. Most of the prebuilt pc will be made to fit the newer games so they won't really go for specifics like I3-9350KF but for more generic cpus with more cores/threads like ryzen ones.

The problem is that asking "should we allow ultimate form y/n?" is like asking "do you have ultimate form y/n?" aside from a minority of ulti form owners who would vote against it out of respect for the people who don't, that's basically the same question.

The people who have it can play with legendary, it doesn't cost them anything, the people who don't will have no choice but to cash for potions if they're out of stock.

I think you should allow people to play with ulti form if they both have it, but if they're fighting against someone who doesn't, they will have to downgrade to legendary. Imo that's the best you can do to please both sides.

Ulti form shouldn't be allowed, why should you force people who don't have it to cash ulti potions for the tournament just to be able to compete at the same speed, when they are already at the disadvantage of not having ulti form collections which mostly give add crit dmg, the most broken stat by far in the game.

On top of that, most of the top tier classes (bard, cleric, gunner) profit way more from ultimate form than the others.

    Forbidden items

    • Seed of detection

    Forbidden Skills

    • Improved daevanions

Everything is fine, but those 2 rules are downright stupid.

Assa/rangers can abuse "short" in battle hide skills that give only hide 1 and it's actually broken af if you're not allowed to use seeds because they can easily wait your RS with it. Unless you count these in the "1 hide per match" rule.

And playing without improved daevanions makes no sense at all.

It's not 7.2 anymore, every pvp player has improved daevanions, and for some classes they are actually necessary because they change the skills fundamental mechanics and not just some extra damage.

imo the best idea and way to monetize f2p games are premium passes like goldpack - it should contain some quests with fancy rewards and cost ~10 euro a month. RNG Boxes for real money is a joke

its better to have 10 000 players base with 3000 paying for pass everymonth if the game is fair than 100 donators 100euro+ everymonth but maybe im wrong

The problem is that some dubai/saudi oil kings just spend 5digit amounts every month into the game. And you also have a few people who cash 4 digit amount every month as well.

They are the problem, they are the reason why gameforge says that "money from goldpacks is not enough anymore (lol)" , they are the one ruining the game for everyone, including even themselves because at some point they will be the only one left playing this game, and they will quit as well when that happens.

Gameforge's monetization system became fully disgusting with 6.0 and all the doors that it opened with the transition to f2p in korea, and it's becoming worse and worse with every patch, especially considering nothing is tradeable, so you can't even buy from whales like you could before 6.0 which was the only thing that made their monetization system bearable in 4.x 5.x.

Imagine if polishing stones, purifiers, daevanion skills, daevanion essences, transformation contracts were tradeable and if we would get back the normal trades and private shops, even with gameforge's monetization system, the game would be 10x better.

But hey, don't expect any improvement, there will be none. At best, wait for classic, atleast the items are tradeable there so they can't make it worse than 7.x.

Gameforge chose the road to milking whales rather than the road to pleasing the mmo community and making aion a popular game in those times where there is barely any mmo offering pvp.

Alt account, he didn't pay for these lunas, he got them from VR and probably wasn't doing anything with them anyway

They didn't say no, they just said they wouldn't provide support for that as that is not something they were developing at the time in Korea.

Gameforge could've made their own 2.7 servers, simply they wouldn't get nc support if something broke.

Now that it's been developped in Korea it's all about gameforge. And I suspect them to wait and see how it's going in Korea before doing anything.

It's kinda sad, with the lockdown in many Europe countries now would be the best time to launch this kind of server, a lot of people would come back to the game for it.

This cryengine 2.0 is not cryengine 2, its simply an update to the original cryengine (ver 1.2) that supports "shaders model 2.0" for better graphics.

They wouldn't use two different engines as that would require double the work since they would have to develop the game twice basically.

For comparison, Archeage is running on cryengine 2.

Who wouldn't ? [why wouldn't the numbers stay]

    • It still use Cryengine 1
    • Not every mmo player have nostalgia toward aion
    • Old aion was slow and time taking, what's not really fitting for the current gaming standards.
    • Ppl tend to try the "new" games at the release and quit it after few days/weeks, that's just natural especially with a free games.

It use cryengine 2 with a subscription 15e/month

No it doesn't use cryengine 2

I dont think, that selling AP or Armor is killing the game, the thing, that ppl only want to farm ingame and spending tons of hours with ingame farming is the problem that is killing games.

If you instantly buy the whole gear, why do you even play? there is nothing left to do aside from flexing your wallet on people who cannot cash as much as you, which is the reason why mmos are a dead genre.

Tbh scrolls/food/manastones in the shop are fair game as long as it's expensive enough to not ruin the economy (= expensive enough to not steal the business from the crafters)

Pets being in the shop is normal as well, It's only convenience, nothing p2w.

Skins in the shop as it should be.

So far so good, but it's to be expected since it's only the start, they don't wanna make people leave before they even started. Let's see how it goes in the next few weeks/months.

Anything that's manufactured by game mechanics is not meant to be in the store, especially in the so called Classic experience and there're several reasons why.
Naturally I believe people running this game will be brained enough so I don't know why I even bother typing this one down.
I think I might have been triggered by your "I hate stupid people" after having read your message. Pardon me. Kekw.

We all know there will be an ingame shop if we ever get a EU classic, so yeah, might as well accept that they sell scrolls/food pets reset scrolls and such rather than seeing them sell AP relics, medals or even gear ;) atleast that's not gonna ruin people's experience.

They just need to stay expensive enough to not take the crafters job.

Don't ever think that gameforge will stop at selling you a goldpack per month. But if they wanna sell me more things, then atleast sell me things that won't ruin the game.

Yeah maybe enchantment and manastone socketing was a bit frustrating due to being rng, but atleast you could farm ench stones and manastones, those weren't limited behind dailies/weeklies/event or shop.

So for me it never really bothered me that much.

In those patches, if you put the effort necessary, you'd get what you want.
