First of all, the new pvp system was a step in the right direction.
Going away from the gear and collection having impact into your pvp performance is something I was waiting already a long time for. However , there is still some things I'd like to suggest for a better experience in that gamemode.
1. 24/7 playable
Currently you can play the new gamemode at three fix hours.
A lot of people have to work or do other things like sleeping at that time, which leads to them not being able to play the gamemode at all. Its also not really nice to be forced to play at exactly this times. However, if the gamemode is 24/7 available, a lot more people could play it over all.
2. PvP Lobby
Right now it is very stressful to set your skills and combos in those 2 minutes before the match starts. Especially if you think about having 12 different classes with 3 different stigma sets. That leads into 36 different set ups you need to do.
Also it would be way easier to actually read through the skills, to know what they do in that gamemode. You maybe wanna try some of those skills in order to find a nice combo or know how many frames it really takes to perform the skill.
Doing all of that in 2 minutes before a game starts is just impossible. Getting some map that uses the balance of the new pvp mode and dummys with the actual def stats of the gamemode would help making it easier to set your combos, learning your new skills and such.
3. Bigger maps
During the PvP fights, it is very hard to take a clear view over your current positioning on the leaderboard as well as getting out of fights when you are at low cooldown/high pressure. Due to the many people on the small maps, it doesnt matter where you go because everywhere is someone. Bigger maps would make it easier to find some coordination for you and your team aswell as structured fights and not completely chaotic smashing on each other.
Still I think this was a great change to the pvp system that only needs some small improvements to be very enjoyable.
Thanks for reading it through
