Asgardia is well known for doing close to no research and repeating random gossips found over internet.
Aion 2 being mobile + pc + next gen was never a case, that's just random conspiracy theory comming from reddit based on A work offer posted by NCSoft for an aion related game. Duh, they even clearly stated aion 2 will be mobile in October 2020 on official video on their channel but I guess reddit/5k youtubers are better source of information?

Fact. NC has been looking for people for a PC Aion project for 3-4 years ago. 100% is that once the Aion 2 PC is ready for the PC.
If only there was an pc aion game already out 3-4 years ago.. Damn too bad there was no such game, right?
Also they were looking for a combat system designer for aion game meant for next gens posted around year ago.
If anyone think that they look for such position for an game in development since 2018 then I have no words.

It's not quite a new project as it's in development since 2018.

As of today, there is no official information about the release date of Aion 2 (mobile).

not like i will play a mobile game like this but nothing official about that... isn't it?
not even nc knows about its release of aion2 and what will it be... the other publishers know even less.
so anything related are just rumors... so the offtopic part is right regardless of they publishing in the future... or not.
but so far nc released lineage m and lineage 2m on mobile for quite a while and they are called global releases by nc themselves... so it seems no other publisher will approach them in the future and haven't so far. there is no need for closer servers for better ping... the interaction in those games is pretty different than pc games. so it seems aion2 will probably stay nc... but so far no official news for either confirmation.
