actually, yes you should play it in order to give a valuable opinion (you can speak whenever you want ofc it is a free world, but dont spect people to take you seriously) because then happens that someone says servers are empty when there is like 200 people on each side, in every server, every siege. You know what i mean?

8.0 gear looks decent, and way better than spiked, now all depends 2see how u get it if its less RNG involved than spiked its okish

Sorry to burst your bubble, but me and others keep playing it and still believe current patches SUCKS. Except if you wanna pretend to be mentalist and decide yourself who is playing and who isn't.
In any case, it's only natural to see more negatives things on a forum. People use to speak when they have a problem, not when everything is ok. As i said to previous defenders like you in past, if you want to see only positive things about aion, go and watch trailers or advertises about it.

These numbers you see in sieges is because of the HP reset. Players were always hungry for abyss ranks, no matter the patch. In a couple of months you'll see how much that number will decrease. In a long run, all these years, population dropped and will keep dropping. You don't have to be a genious to do the math about how many servers aion had in past and how many it has now after so many merges.

Well its kinda obvious it depends on personal POV.. even if there are 400 ppl in total in the prime time (lets not discuss wich % are afk/2nd accounts) you think thats a populated server? I still remember how much ppl complained in past with 3000 ppl online because the game was designed for a minimun 5k playerbase per server, or also the /3 "aion is dead" when the Sillus/Prades sieges been attended with 3-4 full leagues of each faction.. do the maths, it was 600 per side instead 400 in total, then it was horrible and now its 'ok' with not even the half ppl?
Face it, the only reason you can still see somewhere around its that there is no good(or new) mmos around kr style...atm you can see some ppl afk, few whales around, and not much more.. even the /3 its empty. Its a pity but it had to happen, nothing last forever.

The game is not p2w, Each new update makes the game better, The servers are over populated,people who leave aion is because there is no p2w in the game,The game is getting more and more populated every day.

at least acknowledge that you still haven't played 8.0 so you only can imagine it will be the worst patch and the most p2w ever

This update would be good for me if this would be the case atleast, but NC isn´t doing good things since long now... expect it beeing harder to obtain than spike, if it is even better if not just an alternative. They are still doing their long time goal BS, it didn´t change with 8.0.

I somewhat agree with you actually.
Playing an game helps in understanding how the game actually works.
However I'd still say that it's not required to be able to valuably judge the state of the game. Some ppl here on forum played the game for over 10 years, That experience is fairly enough to be able to easily tell apart whether an incoming feature is nice or not.
Also the argument about 200 players per fraction per server, that's less than 2k players in total, and idk about you but for me that's fairly dead number for 3A mmorpg. According to myAion there's around 3.5k players playing right now (server cap seems to be 3k according to Livo )
Compared to other mmorpgs out there like:ESO (released in 2014, avg 23k players in last 30 days)
POE (released in 2013, avg 25k players in last 30 days)
FFXIV (released in 2010, avg 17k players in last 30 days)
BDO (released in 2014, avg 22k players in last 30 days)
Without even mentioning that (afaik) other games do not have auto/afk farm feature and are not alt army friendly)

getting spiked is not so easy , its RNG u can be lucky and get 4 parts in 4 boxes and the last 2 parts u can never get, but if u was lucky getting it
GZ 2 u.in 8.0 i doubt we gonna see the newgear in such rng, also the NEW gear is already posted and is ok- its pve the APSU one.
dunno but seems to me u got no idea about what is going on.

8.0 is revamp of SKILLS /DPS + NEW gear PVE and even ULTIMATE FORM in goldsand shop.

the Ultimate Form in Goldsand Shop is a 7.9 Pt.2 Feature. Nothing from 8.0.
Yesterday I didn´t see any new PVP Gear. Only a new PVE one. -
But every time there was an new update it was worse than before and 8.0 will be no exception.(I speak since 5.x)

Actually, not quite. There is no PvE stats on the gear, and NCsoft is deprecating PvP enchantment stones (from patchnotes you can exchange them against PvE stones on 8.0).
This stuff can be used both for PvE and PvP. -
From asgardias video it says its gear pvp/pve so its for both..in 8.0

you have fallen victim to their strategy. ncsoft is removing stuff to add later and ppl say omg we got so much stuff thanks ncsoft.
free ulti form in 6+ months or pehaps 10 months or more... not 4-6. unless you're talking about this gf feature with one time kaisinel? every month you get one of those breath items so it's 6 months minimum because you need 6 but those frags are not like the ancient or leg frags... you can get some or totally different items... so yay for more rng than ancient or leg frags. it will be better for frags in 8.0 tho. we forgot that ncsoft deleted scrolls that were available to everyone to come up with this p2w system. one ulti in half a year (and not one of the 4) doesn't make up for the amount of p2w there still is with the system. so many leg forms and some ancient are exclusive to shop/promo events and they give you powerful collection stats. how many years do you need to farm for ulti collections? at least a year for a fusion because you can't farm breath on alts. how many years for a new player to get their regular ancient and leg forms for collections?
easiest kinah ever? kinah was not hard.. in fact it was so easy and mostly in 5.x when you needed a single run of supplements. easy kinah sources were removed with this revamped aion but if you had the gear it wasn't hard to farm instances to sell to npc but it took time.
easy gear was always there. with every patch we had second best gear available for solo quests at different organisations. remember in the crucible area we had npc with very good pve sets that you could put in acc wh... same with pvp sets. we had kahrun and more... even pandora not long ago. they removed them and the leg free set so now ppl can cheer up when they see easy gear. protectorate or whatever is the name is a little behind ambush but viable and ambush is second or third rate gear at this point. but gear doesn't mean only armor. we have powerful jorgoth weapons (hahaha 500 frags and 500 insignia for level 4)... extreme gear... ciclonica... so ambush weapons are whatever. we still have accs to farm... with only 15% cube available as demo. and the hardest part is still enchanting. wasting so many leg stones and up to 10 ulti stone on one gear part (from exp) is painful when it's not easy to get them.
and you still need many months or more to get +15 skills because of essences and many more for +15 stigmas. and forever for s minion... some don't have them because of no luck fusing. and then you need your runes and odians. there is so much to farm in this game and we didn't get to the pvp part. and more to farm with 8.0. i can't complain because i farmed a lot of it but this game is harder and longer for new players to get into... not easier. look at our accounts that already have some stuff farmed... it's harder to have viable alts to farm end game pve and even harder for pvp... close to impossible with average time spending. compare that with the past and you will see the difference.
