Display MoreI generalized it because many people need kinah to buy goldpacks and ulti manastones and many people were farming kinah for it.
How do you want to get full ulti manastone set without buying them at broker? Successrate is like at 20%-30%. There will be a new gear before you are even close to a full ulti manastone geared set.
Maybe you are a PVE player who dont care much about a few % more dmg.
But on PVP it is important.
In fact an event has to be an advantage for all players. There should be no disadvantage. But there is!
Nobody needs that event kinah for rerolling stats or buying +9 stigma... If you dont have kinah for it, then you are doing something wrong.
I need 5kk - 40kk kinah for rerolling stats per ulti item. You can get this within a few days.
You generalize it as well. Got it?I don't need to buy GP and manastones. You can get ultimate manastones by ingame meanings, which was already detailed by someone else. I personally use the legendary manastones because it's easier to come by but I do have ultimate manastones. Fewer stats difference from manastones alone makes no big impact compared with other things.
Everyone needs kinah for rerolling stats. Ask most players in the game. Quite many spent 100kk-200kk on one piece, including myself, so 5kk-40kk is your own experience? Are you rerolling legendary gear stats?
This game has more than +9 stigmas, in fact the goal it will be +15 soon enough.

I'm curios on how they are going to do a partial rollback, so the following players don't loose their hard earned work:
Whatever they do it will be towards more players using their cash shop.
This should be considered an opportunity not a disaster imo.

If their or your intention is to be able to reroll stats and compensate upgrade costs then this is the wrong way. Because kinah farmed prior event is worthless now.
There is easy way to solve your problem. --> GF JUST NEEDS TO REDUCE COSTS.
This would be easier than causing an hyperinflation.

2. I wanted this Legendary Transformation Contract and Luna Gold Chest
3. I fixed My PVP set by using Luna
4. I geared my main character with PVE jewellery and fixed my PVE weapon - only my main
5. I didnt tryhard this event
II. Punishing all players because of trolls:

In a case of rollback you only lose 1 week of playing but if you allow this stupid "event" to run for more weeks or do some stupid inglot compensation... you lose years/months and have a destroyed game/economy.
No, i will not lost only one week of playing
2.
Rollback, Free Legy Contract + Events with Pve Gear (Splen + Senecta) and Stones (easy to obtain ofc) and some Kinah. Problem solves (at least for the non heavy farmer)
No, this problem will not be solved using this option
3.
For new players and gold pack sales , what do players with op +15 gear need billions for anyway, this event is practically useless for them.
No. U all R creating Broker's Prices by Urself - not by me or by others. "Using" new players starting play in Aion is not fair-play, the most of U all R just playing long time {no, not speak about U Xeon caus idk. only say to these people who know, that R playing long time]
III. Solution
1. Solution is hard, caus this event is very good. Saying, that no is not - is a fake. We will have Scheduled Maintenance soon.
2. During this Maintenance should be done with only these Maps and Kinah. Why? I agree with 30kk from one box is a bit high. I cant say about fixing this simply. Why? Caus a key costs 2.8kk and opening 30kk. Good option is Remove kinah from boxes, but what will be in this box after? Players R still holding in a bag these Special Keys bought by kinah ...
3. Ultimate Maps working close to good. Someone dropped Equipment more often, someone never, someone a bit (me a bit)
4. Legendary Maps - here is a point to try Fix something with looting Unknown Map. Maybe good option is to - decrease chance for this map, idk.

I agree with a lot of your post but if posters can't see this can be turned into a positive thing with lots of players using their kinah to buy far more than they can now, then they might as well hang up their boots.

I don't know man. When 7.2 arrived so many quit the game because kinah (along with other things) was severely nerfed and hard to get by. I know lots of players who didn't return from that. Now there is too much of kinah and others say they might quit but all I see is players farming kinah, including those who say they might do it. You're forced to do it if you still plan to stay, if not, then you don't need to participate. But they do need to find the spot where the kinah is just right. Not too little little like at the start of 6.2 and 7.2 and not too much like now. Reducing the cost is a little more of changing the game, as they take it as it is from KR.

Rollback will get things even worst. 'Cause people made progress not only through the event. I, for example, got 2 legendary forms (one of those two is Nezekan's Apostle, which is perfect for my main) by fusing ancients, or enchanted some of my PVP gear to +15, by doing altars and sieges. So no, i TOTALLY DISAGREE with having a rollback.
I'd be so pissed, and i bet i wouldn't be the only one. People is already quitting by default, and a rollback, well, i let you imagine the rest.

Failboat you are a very respected knowledgeable Aion poster and I know you might be sometimes weary or sad but I'm sure Gameforge would listen more if you were to be just a little more optimistic and help them to get a more vibrant economy with more tradable items as this would not only benefit us but also them by having more happy players who will use their shop because they enjoy Aion and feel its more worth paying for.

You do not know the compensation you can get by gf.
Maybe they give us a selectable leg. transformation. You get 1 leg transformation by afk event and 1 every 2 month by doing weekly quests.
Legendary transformation aren't that much worth anymore.
When ppl think that there could be a script to find out which person had which amount of kinah.. then there is for sure a script that to find out people used leg transformation contracts. (i personally don't believe in it)

There are lots of things that can go wrong if they decide to take any kind of action. What we do here is just passing opinions around as the decision is not our to take. They always did what they thought they need to do from their point of view. People here are posting random stuff because there isn't much to do in between 3 min cd and for sure it makes little to no impact for what decision GF will take. By the way, there is more than contracts and luna. What if someone finally got earring drop in PW HM or other random things?

About this forcing rollback: U R all still saying about event. What about basic Aion? what with Lugbug and others contents. I care about my Honor Points Ranking and siege's Legendary Enchantment Stone caus i not participate only to this, to not receive my rewards after. I care about Fragment of Fignting Spirit - i cant let lose all week caus only of someone who criticize only an event, mostly kinah, caus U became a normal tier kinah maybe and others overtakes U and U R just angry maybe. I am not full new red ulti +15 pvpve, to let fragments and event items just dropped gone by.
EDIT:
And no, if i will lose one week of Elite Reward's Time - it is not too easy for me to buy remaining Gold Packs back, caus i have my own job and mostly i not play in a day or 24/7.

1. Roll back, except that creates other issues.
2. Run a script to reduce event rewards.
3. Insert in-game kinah sinks like NPC selling goods.
4. Reactivate and stock the auction house.

If GF dont do a rollback, delete all this week and delete the event, the game can be closed... who play aion only for fun, now is really impossible, the ppl that play 24/7 they have too much kinah and the cost of GP is 500kk... impossible for who do istance for kinah and no play event because he work...
