Ye I am from old Spatalos - I quit a couple of months ago due to too much work and said I would come back if they finally get a classic server - seems my wishes will come true
Community feedback-Free Talk

I came back about May this year I think, but we had some great times on old Spatalos but there was really hard times as well due to Asmos not having enough Asmos so sieges was messed up a great deal
I rolled an asmos and I liked it better tbh I don't know why no one rolled Asmos back then.
-
cause of some of the things I mentioned
just think about ishalgen.... go to munin (before there were teleporters)
-
So, I'll put this here since it's a form of community feedback as well.
-------------------
What's the point to have a thread of suggestions-votes on discord if we are not taken into account? It feels that way. That's why I made a resume of the suggestions from last months. Galeas, as a community manager, you should report this.
Note: Suggestions needed 10 votes or more to be considered "popular".
Let's start with the most relevant. More experience and reduction in experience extractor was suggested even before the 7.7 update. Now it's even more important to do something about it since insignias of experience are the main currency of the game. NOT ATTENDED
Legendary, particularly apostles, and ultimate transformations is an old topic. Since months people have been suggesting ways to make them more obtainable and increase rates, particularly now that we have more ultimate transformations. NOT ATTENDED
Minions (level 4 A-Class and S-Class) is more or less the same. We will have new awakening minion system, so it will adquire more relevance in the future. It's been announced that a minion event is coming in december, although it's not a permanent solution like monthly stigma event for example. PARTIALLY ATTENDED
At the moment I'm writing this, there was a fame reduction every monday starting at level 3. We haven't experience the first reduction of 7.7, but have in mind that now articles from level 2, 3 and 4 have been move to level 5. Hoping the fame will be reduced starting at level 5 now, otherwise it will be limiting casual players. Particularly in Gelmaros for elyos and Ingisson for asmos are difficult to level up. Also in dumaha. NOT ATTENDED
People have been asking, if you watch also shop-suggestions in discord, many skins, emotion and motion cards, either obtainable in shop or in game. If this is really a free-to-play game, those should be obtainable in shop and in game. NOT ATTENDED
Finally, here some other various suggestions that the community liked. NOT ATTENDED

(It is not because it is popular that it will be applied. Of course, I'd like everything of that list to be put in game, but don't forget that 1- GF IS an enterprise, 2- even if we need less RNG, they CAN'T give us everything.)

They can stop giving us rng in the shop and then pretending that they try to decrease the rng, that's entirely on them, ncsoft has nothing to do with that

I agree, but they still can't give us everything we ask for.

Why not? We are the customers....
When you go to mcdo, if you ask for a risotto, you won't have it.
(well, the example is not perfect, but the spirit is here. It is not because you are the customer that you'll have everything you want
)

Like they care about their customers...
When you go to mcdo, if you ask for a risotto, you won't have it.
At least they don't sell risotto boxes with rotten apples or napkins inside and a 0.001% chance to get what you paid for.

Yolento Everything is reported regularly, no need to copy it here. It doesn't mean that it will be done though. This thread is useful to get feedback and ideas for potential changes. The existence of such a thread doesn't mean that every time something gets 10 votes, it will be done. (10 votes is not much anyway on the scale of the community)

The example makes no sense at all, because I know they have no risotto before I decide to go in.
BUT: if I want my burger without the sauce, my coke without the ice and a salat instead of fries, I get it, because I am the customer......

That comparison doesn't work, it doesn't work like this for any game (ok, there might be one or two exceptions).
There is no game in which devs simply do everything players want/ ask for because they are customers. The game can't be customized for every player according to his/her own tastes and desires. Games are made by devs who makes choices and take decisions. Of course feedback has a place (especially in a MMo that has regular updates) which is higher or lower depending on games and some changes are directly born based on Community feedback but the game is not just an addition of all player's wishes, it's a creation with creators.
The devs create a game, try to put their effort and passion into something that they hope people will like and play. Ideally, they also listen to feedback to try to improve it, but in the end they offer you a vision of something they create and then it's up to each and everyone to decide if they like it or not and if they want to play it or not.
A writer writes a book and create something that you will appreciate or not. He doesn't change parts of the book based on his readers feedback and yet they bought the book and are customers to some extent. Same for the director of a movie. The fact that you are a customer doesn't mean thet devs are bound to listen to all your personal wishes.
Don't get me wrong, they should obviously try to listen to the most obvious feedback shared by the majority though. But a game is not as simple as "I'm the customer, they have to give me everything I ask for". Nonetheless, I do agree that to keep your customer it's most of the times in your interest to listen to their feedback

Hello
8 years i reading forum now discord, never wrote on forum cuz its pointless. You are right Galeas with
"There is no game in which devs simply do everything players want/ ask for because they are customers. The game can't be customized for every player according to his/her own tastes and desires. Games are made by devs who makes choices and take decisions."
Now what u are wrong
"A writer writes a book, director of a movie" they cant change what they wrote but u can change what u do for your comunity cuz its game what can be change.
many times u spoke about "comunity feedback" but be real what is your comunity feedback? 10 post on forum for event feedback ?private msg on discord? u dont give us any numbers of your feedback.Never on my email come some asking for feedback for this or this. How hard is for u make ingame vote for current promotion event and then give us info ?Maybe cuz numbers doesnt lie and u can just say " we did what u want"
Why still so many rng in shop , events that are mostly focused on shop , why your 1st stigma event has 35% chance for succes and 2nd 30%, u loose income money ?
If your feedback decision is right why u still loosing hope from ppl, why many streamers stop play EU aion, why u dont care about your comunity ? ( that is what ppl see from you)
My thinking is your aion version is not focused on casual players but for peaople that have money. (more money->more boost-> more kills - and that is what ppl want from MMORPG)You proof it us with events .
When u start here galeas u were full of hope, expectation now when i read your posts i just see person who accepted he cant change anything and that is sad
-
The major problem with aion is that GF see us as money bags. For example they decided to make this casino-like promo that requires to spend luna.
At the same time we have the new patch with new gear that also require luna for identification. Luring people to burn their luna (that are needed for ingame progress in this patch) for a very small chance to get not so "great prizes" shows how GF treats their customers.
When u start here galeas u were full of hope, expectation now when i read your posts i just see person who accepted he cant change anything and that is sad
I think he is doing fine, it's not his job to try to change things.

I agree with some of what you say but when people or customers of any sort are saying over and over again the same points.
If a writer or film make or game writer of any job did not take on broad what is being said over and over again they would fail.
Most jobs today have to take feedback or criticism or prise, now criticism is the most important of the 2 because if there is so much criticism over the same thing and nothing is done any job roll will fail any business will fail because things are not getting addressed with the criticism.
that's fact and so far going back to the release of Aion EU and NA are not being addressed the criticism just keeps coming and nothing is done. = long team failed
there is only so much people or customers will take.
One thing I forgot to say is the lack of dealing with the criticism over the years has shown both in NA and EU by the amount of players that left Aion they give up due to nothing changing. The point here is criticism needs to be addressed its not a easy thing to address its the hardest thing but is shows its not being address by the amount of playerbase there is left in EU and NA.
Yes you can say its down to NCsoft but its not all down to NCsoft on the EU part. As GF plays a big part in EU the shop and many other parts.

Wrong, a writer cannot change the book according to feedbacks because the book is already out and printed by the time most of the feedback comes. Same for a movie. Yet when they get it before release they still do it as much as possible, as they did for the Sonic movie, which would have been most likely a massive fail if they didn't.
Now we are requesting that GF reduce the rng for months already. All we got is empty promises and GF adding more rng over the base rng that ncsoft provided.
Oh and don't tell me "but ducat gold is a result of us reducing rng blabla" no one cares about reducing the rng from loots in instance. People who run the instance will get what they need before they have enough ducat gold for it, all it does is giving the loot of some instances to people who don't wanna run it.
Now this is a fact, the game in EU is more rng than Korea, and that's solely GF's fault.

thats why i said i agree with part of what was said.
a writer cant change a book that already been written but they can look at the criticism for that book and see how they can improve with the next book you learn by process
-
Actually, majority of writers modify what they wrote based on the feedback they get aswell, they don't just finish their story and be like "omg go print it ASAP and release". It goes through various quality check/censorships before it got released.
Within a certain limit they also listen to their fanbase in case of writing an sequel, and tries to make improve the segments fanbase didn't liked in the general.
Unless we talk about ppl who write for passion, not for living, but I would say passionate writers cannot be compared to Aion/Gameforge
