Im necroposting this IK, but since March GF barely made any adjustments, and we have even more RANDOM drops of platinum cubes because of added instances from 7.5
Suggestion : ADD PLATINUM CUBES for bosses as reward for killing said bosses+ 20% amount of cubes for next boss -> ( for eg. you get 10 platinum attack cubes for Barkhan/Yarkhan and 2 cubes for Prometeun). Introduce event where you can buy/exchange gathered normal cubes for those you missing, but PLS no more Item Shop only events.
Why?: To promote more linear progression in pve ( i know you finally try to westernize Aion- we like linear progression with low amount of RNG) and allow more players to enjoy endgame pve. ATM only small % of player base are geared enough to go PWHM
This is not whining of noob. This is complaining of pretty PVE obsessed player that i need to gather 5 other players 4h on peak hours on Sunday on Wide-server and rejecting countless players for too weak gear and lack of cubes/ experience making me "elitist jerk".
I'm surprised that those cubes are not part of reward for killing bosses, but are available only for members of dominant legion on faction ( farming so much stellium requires several alts in said legion and completing all altar legion weeklies on all alts to be even remotely effective). NCsoft maybe have actual competition for altars between same faction legions, but In EU ( stormwing and probably everywhere else too) we sadly got monopolistic legions and without moderation from GF ( like goverment have anti-monopolistic agencies) , those legions reap most rewards hurting experience of other players.
introducing those cubes will allow for organic progression in PVE where the more you kill those bosses, the better you get in this. This will allow for carrying new players and eliminate elitism, more content for average player, less RNG, more linear progression, and you dear GF will get players that enjoy game more= pay more for stuff in item shop.
Implementation of this will be absolute win for everyone. And it is very simple to implement, maybe even you can do it without NCSoft help.

Lets keep beninerk cubes premium only so you could still have reason to farm stellium. U could lower drop rate for other cubes and raise drops rate for SVR-07
WE HAVE TOO LOW POPULATION to create environment for elitist pve, myself i already got everything i could from instances that i could make premade- Tarukan HM is out of reach for most players
IF YOU want to P2W this aspect of game, just introduce those cubes to shop in non RNG way with accessible prices. Everyone will be happy. Just make those cubes more accessible, cos not everyone can get into monopolistic legion.
Since last time i made this post in March only change you made dear GF is that you implemented LOOTBOXES with cubes, not cool GF, not cool. Keep those prices if you want but at least remove those stupid lootboxes please, its not so hard to add not RNG bundles with SPECIFIC cubes! I wonder, dear GF, if you are offering same lootboxes in Belgium, huh? Why everything in you shop is RNG based? Can't we have simple shop when we get what we paid for, so F2P players can pay in kinah to donating players without fear that they got useless stuff that they already accuired?
Instance merchant prices are stupidly high, this system is for almost full ulti guys who miss that one LAST piece of gear, overpriced and underwhelming assortment
