Anti cheat system for aion. Not gonna happen for one reason: GF will lose money, a lot.
I think NCS, not GF.
NCSoft already have GameGuard. GF need to buy license.

Anything that involves wasting and losing money wont be applied to Aion.

Bad is one thing: if send a ticket with aidps meter's screenshot - support will reply, that this is not valuable material, documenting cheats
Reports like videos or aidps are ignored because they won't have evidence in court.
All reports without serverside evidence will be ignored.
I made this post because their anti cheat policy is gone and there is no protection in the game either. They became so lenient towards cheater that more are joining every week. -
Client-side anticheat software is doomed to be bypassed.
Only a matter of time/effort/cost on such activity.

In Russia they have Frost, but the game is too laggy. Even with 40ms I feel like i'm playing with 100+.

Since KR went f2p there is alot more money involved from us players supporting GF and NC and I have the feeling this post should already been made 5 years ago.
Why does this game has no cheat protection?
- Are there technical issues?
- Is it too expensive?
- Problems with privacy laws?
I mean even private servers have it, KR has it.I had a discussion with the GMs too and from a software engineer pov I can only see one solution to the whole problem and that is client side cheat protection.
Now we really have to face it, I'm not going into details for the sake of the game but something has to be done, if you keep going like this you will shoot yourself in the foot one day.I agree, specially some type of anti hack agaisnt AHK, [...]

If Gameforge did actually care about cheaters, bots etc. they would have anti-cheat or catch-a-cheater programs even if it was used by themself.
They clearly could clearly get pretty cheap done a own no-animation catcher themself (especially if they have a coding team of their own) and use that program to catch no-animation users.
Although doing this comes the typical things Gameforge only will think about: It costs to build and they will lose a paying customer by banning someone.
Often you can also see a pattern with cheaters, that most cheaters are also those who spend most money in Aion Shop also. Some stop using no-animation after they got Kaisinel / Marchutan, although not everyone does.
It is kinda frustrating to see how many cheaters get away for years what they are doing and spoiling it for other players.
I really doubt we would see anti-cheat programs applied while the game is Published by Gameforge. -
It's not only the no ani part, the distance is also increased which makes it unfair for the rest of us.
The usual "I have better ping" is always a nice excuse to justify the extra range.
Oh well, nothing much will change this late in the game.

They will never do anything about cheaters. It is perfectly clear by their actions and lack of even attempting to adapt a anti-cheat program, also they are too lazy to check logs so any support ticket is 100% ignored without hyper clear video evidence (Like we supposed to be 24/7 recording lol?) They know a lot of the cheaters for sure, they just don't care.

It's never too late for anti cheat.
A good example is ABP Reloaded, this game got infested by cheaters for years.. After implementing EAC the cheaters were little to none.
APB reloaded also has a small community, but the game has a cash shop and companies with a cash shop need to give their players some sort of insurance.
I mean we pay the salary of the employees, our contribution makes it possible for the company to even exists. -

If Gameforge want this game better, GMs should back online in Aion and do their job also in-game. I heared Game Masters were online and were active in the past - i mean during NCSoft West (? good? ) time.

You need to be abit more optimistic. I read 'garbage, unplayable, drawbacks, tons of ploblems'.. but then please substantiate your feedback, you can even go technical with me.

Man - i dont care of those people just spendin money for a game, or not spend. Everyone should have clear fun from game, and also treat others with a respect. Cheaters not care about any respect - it is like in sport, if use dopping - u should be exclude from sport for fair play. End of this maybe, caus it is really annoying to discuss about who can cheat or who cannot - wtf lol!!!!

This game had no anti cheat software when it was thriving and had 50x more players and it wont have it now when translations are dropped and servers are empty. Also, knowning their programming skills (HT & Platinerk) you wouldnt be even able to run the game with anticheat software enabled xD

Total madness..Well there's a tech running around with a prigga xform who attacks faster than Kaisinel and no animation....and report after report and they're still there. If a company doesn't apply it's TOS consistently, then it's officially null and void, so GF need to do something about the cheaters, or everyone is allowed to cheat.

How do you even know that this particular guy uses no animation ? Both myAion and aiDPS are not able to measure animation speed of the AT while in mech.
Not sure if all the classes/chars have this but my tech gets AS bugged very often, like i'm seeing 1.2 AS while buffed but attacking like i have 2.0 which is very annoying :\
