Dear reader!
With this post I'm announcing that I will be 'retiring' from the Aion team as well as from the game entirely.
After 8 years of gameplay and 3 years of being in the moderating team it's time for me to go on to future projects and hobbies. I'm not quitting due to bad RNG, new patches or anything like that, It's simply prioritizing what I do in life and lack of time to spend in the game.
In 3 years I've met a lot of people on the previous board and the current forum, had some tough but civilized conversations with people in private and had a lot of fun as well! It's so great to see the time some people spend in making guides, videos and helpful answers to questions.
Of course we also had less fun times (Luna changes, etc) but hey! Without the worse times you don't appreciate the good times (such positive :O ).
If I censored/warned you, I want to assure you that I didn't have a personal issue with you, this was my part in creating a better atmosphere for old and new players looking for conversation and information.
I want to thank Galeas for his effort towards the community and my fellow mods for creating a pleasant internal environment while doing something that isn't exactly a friend-making 'job'.
To the community I want to thank you for being active and even though I had 3 years of censoring and giving warnings I got only very few people who started insulting me, that shows in my eyes that the Aion community isn't as toxic as some people make it out to be (of course some didn't start attacking me as they thought it would mean a ban, but even that shows restraint).
I hope everyone keeps on using the forum as a medium for conversation and information as that's the goal of it.

My first thought was "GOOD. FINALLY!" but then I reflected a bit on my real thoughts, not just emotions. You are a well intentioned person but a bit too rough around the edges and robotic sometimes (at least from our interactions). You did your job without a flaw though, as far as I could follow, and I respect that. All in all, i dislike you a bit (about 142 grams if you'd ask me to measure it somehow) but I think I am sad that you are leaving. Farewell my frenemy, you will be missed !
