MyAion DPS meter

    Hello Together,

    if I want to install Npcap the I can't chose the option for API-compatible mode and I have an info message showing me the following message: "Npcap detecte you have installed Win10pcap. In order ti install Npcap"


    Windows 7 Professional 64bit is used


    Running the installer as admin doesn't fix my problem

    And you cannot understand what's your problem because ?
    It's says plain and simple that you have installed another version, so uninstall win10pcap (prolly used for aidpsmeter) and then install npcap ;) GL

    lumpi, if you cannot find win10pcap on your PC, it means that not all files / registry keys were removed. To fix it, you need to download third party uninstaller which is able to remove left overs (for example iobit uninstaller). So short summary:

    1. Install Win10Pcap again.

    2. Uninstall Win10Pcap using IObi Uninstaller selecting "remove residual files".

    Shame on me, actually not 100% sure for what I am having those small extra programs, not quite sure if I destroy anything if I uninstall a certain programm or not, sorry for bothering.


    Well I managed to install it now properly, but when i try to install the

    Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (x86 and x64)



    It's telling me that its no "legal" Win32-Application


    Any ideas how to solve ?

    Try to start is as Administrator

    I´ve tried that but here for example:


    I have 2 network adapters on my computer:


    1. Realtek Ethernet

    2. Asus Pcie Card Ethernet


    What i see in that interface menu are alot of "Microsoft on local host" adapter and that one ethernet on board where my Lan is not running over.


    There is no identification on what could be my Asus card and ive tried every adapter and there is not one of them working.

    Yes, it's id of your session in game. It was already suggested to change it for more friendly name. It will be done in next update.

    I didn't figure out yet from where pcap takes these names, but sometimes it displays Microsoft instead of real name. For example I have to choose Microsoft interface when my network adapter name is Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6205. I will try change identification way in the future. Till then please try to connect on each of them until You find correct one.

    was anyone able to use the dps meter during siege?

    for me it seems if there are too many ppl it just stopps working correctly and then it does not recover until you restart it manually?

    any ideas why that could be / or did you never design it to work during siege ^^

    I was testing it during sieges and it was fine. There could be too many errors or too high CPU usages in your case. Playing with VPN might use slightly more CPU than without. It's still in early development stage, need to fix bug and optimize it. Next time when it stop recording damage, check what's CPU usage by app and if there are any not empty .log files "logs" folder. If there are, send it to me, please. It will help me to fix these errors.

    I did test every adapter i have to choose from and nothing works. Should i reinstall some software or what can i do to get it to work ?

    Are you using VPN?

    Did you relog every time when you tried new interface?

    Can you write "netstat -an" in Command Prompt when you are logged in game and show me result?

    Yesterday I got a DC and the tool crashed. I think you have to catch some errors to prevent a full crash after a DC :)

    is it working with Pingzapper ?


    I have selected all interfaces and tried all ports but it doesnt work with pingzapper.

    This version works with Ping Zapper:

    Select Loopback device. Port doesn't matter.

    I reinnstalled everything, removing all with that programm you mentionedn before. When i understand it correctly it does it the same way as AiDPS ? There my Wlan pcie Card was found without problems.

    Like I wrote in PM, you are getting error while npcap installation

    It won't work without properly installed npcap. Looks like it cannot copy wpcap.dll file into your C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory. Maybe it doesn't have permissions. Did you try to run npcap installer as admin?
