Ninga

  • A strange thing happened to me today.

    Let me resume,

it's late at night and I decide with a friend to build a group and do a Narrakali.

To this nothing is wrong. We did it pretty well, we killed the boss, then a piece of the stuff I need a drop (I'm magic, my friend physic), by solidarity, he rolled and got it, and give it to me.

Is it really a ninja? I needed it, it's even not for kinah.

Another magic started to complain and.. he started with insults us, he said he gonna ashame us, post our name on forums, and spam on servers our name as ninja persons.

To avoid it, I was ready to give him the part because i dont want any trouble.

he said no, he said he's gonna yell hard our names, that we are blacklisted and a few more insults.

i always tough help a friend is ok, anyone can help me in this matter? It is that bad?

    thank you

If he did not make it clear from the beginning that he was going to roll magic things and forgo physical items, I would have said yes. If he does not need any more from the instance and just go along to help you and help you with magic things then he should make that clear from the start. Should he still need physical items and plans to roll the dice, he should keep his hands off Magic.

Just because the item was used and not just thrown for Kinah does not change the fact that you had an unfair advantage over the other Players.

The people are currently quite sensitive to ninjas, so it does not surprise me that the other has responded so. Since then you can do nothing except wait until the whole may be forgotten. (or to get you both a name change)

If only a small consolation: In the forum he can not spread that, here naming and shaming is prohibited

  • Yes it is ninjaing.

Yes you are blacklisted somewhere if he rly posted a screen.

Yes you are in trouble now, if ppl see your name on the list.

A namechange should be the best solution here, like Kery alrdy mentioned AND dont ever do stuff like this again, else your namechange didnt change anything in the matter. Well the guy was kind of a j*** to not accept the item and let it be a day, but yeah, i can understand the frustation getting scammed in cross-server.

  • it's a type of ninja, when friend rolls for you even though he doesn't need the item. Waters get a bit muddy when your friend goes on alt that needs that item and then trades to you, but imo then it's a fair game.

Some unwritten rules for loot distribution (good manners):

1 item for each player if possible (if you got something already please pass)

Need rolls always have priority. (Optional gear has a bit lower priority, for example cleric and chanter needs shield - cleric should get it)

You don't roll on item that fits to someone in your group unless stated ffa.

If you go server wide, pass lead to the person that recruited, leader can always ninja, but you have to trust leader, ninjas rarely want to recruit and even more - to talk/mark/lead.

If you want to gear up faster go with legion or friends and clearly say what are loot rules, who gets what if drops. (You can go with randoms too if they agree to your rules, tho you might need to set leader normal loot and use /roll later to be 100% sure noone ninjas, but if randoms wont know you they will think it's a ninja leader )

Player base - we want less RNG and more rewarding gameplay

Developers - we value your feedback and want to provide you with sense of pride and accomplishment by bringing .... RNG

  • If he does not need any more from the instance and just go along to help you

No, he need also items. Just didnt had physical item at the end.

I meet alot of ppl who roll for their friend, and i do the same, i never had any problem before.

Its so hard nowaday to have legendary cause ppl are rolling even if they dont need and say the opposite.

  • This is a clear ninja and both of you deserved to be blocked. Making a thread and hoping ppl agree with this kind of behavior, isn't going to happen.

To be clear, i dont make this tread to see if poeple agree.

I just wanted to be clear, i am not the only one to have done this, atleast others will now know.

    I wont do it again,

Hope others who will read will stop also.

    no need to be rude~

P.s : thank you to everyone for constructive reply
