Aion Classic Re-release 1.2 China

    They are re-releasing Aion Classic in China, starting on patch 1.2

    They already have 300k signups.


    Would love to see this happen in EU, current "Classic" if you can even call it that, is dead.

    You log in, do your daily, log out. There's not even 100 people online on either asmo or elyos side, except during siege and boss time. It is clear that the version of "classic" we have currently does NOT resonate with the playerbase.


    Take advantage of the Aion2 Hype, Do it Gameforge, launch a true classic in EU, starting on patch 1.2

    I think it would be logical for a global re launching of aion classic since 1.2 with tweaked open world drop rate ( in the past they took measures towards bots) , now I think the wisest is to hire admins to actively surveillance towards bots , cheaters , ap traders.
    It is pity that we have only 1 server of classic that is not longer "classic " anymore by any means , this re launching is mandatory to preserve the comunity interested into the game ( the population of aion classic is decreasing and that has been happening for patches already) , I am sure that you will spark the interest of so many players by launching it well made and thought with proper measures.

    @ionutmaster4 that is what many players were wishing for from the start. The ones always shouting for new content might as well play Retail.


    While 1.2 up to 1.9 used to be my favorite versions, I have had enough restarts of Aion and the european provider. I am glad that I was able to enjoy those on Aion classic NA.

    Back when they released Aion Classic 1.9!I said it was gonna be a fail...Classic Aion is 1.2/1.9 MAX. They didn’t listen.Now look at China,so many people are playing there...so many of us trying to play too. I called it back then,but nobody cared!!! qq

    As if. People wanted to play AION classic and 2 and a half years later they get level 70, what a joke............. wonder which version is more dead, that one with level 85 or that one with level 70......

    wanna bring this topic back, RELEASE A 1.5 Nostalgia Server with no more patches then 1.9 atleast give us something gameforge. You can milk this cow a bit more i would be into it.

    Even if they RE-release it in EU the publisher remains the same. Sooner or later because of their greed the game will go downhill.

    As of by the end of 2018 a lot of game producers are focusing on mobile games.
    That means the MMORPG is only alive by certain amount of people who use PC.

    Not to mention the reason you see a decline in active players is because they need to focus more on real life (job, kids, parents etc)

    Back then we were all 10-15-25 years old playing AION or Metin2 or WoW. Its been 16 years since the release of Aion in EU out of which I played 12.

    The reason of this downfall is mainly TIME. But the greed of the publisher makes it even more faster.
