Is it true Aion is dying/shutting down?

    Hello, I'm a new player from Ireland and I am really enjoying Aion however I've read a few articles that state Aion is dying or shutting down, is this true? It's such an absolutely beautiful game and incredibily fun for me, it'd be just my luck if it's closing down soon. I apologise if my topic seems like scaremongering but I am someone who likes to pay for in-game benefits and I wouldn't like to put money into a game that won't be around much longer which I'm sure anyone could understand.     live is almost dead in my opinion but i dont really care about that if you find new friends. i usually search info for new patches and we will get a new instance maybe next year but game got stuck in apsharanta. and classic is more active than live but i dont like it, go back to slow gameplay, i pass.

    Live is pretty much relegated to maintenance mode, but I don't think it will be shutting down anytime soon. Low effort from developer's side, but not dead-dead to the point where we can expect a server shutdown soon.


    The only possibility of a sudden shutdown would imo be the decision of NCSoft to suspend every AION live publishing license to force people onto classic. But I don't see it happening either, live is pretty much a no-effort low-income thing for them at this point.

    Aion is not dying. On YT massive trolls calling themselves like "gaming's experts" R spreading such info. In their statements only several cases R true:

    1. i create an account, then character and enter to the game. i achieve level 8-9 and i enter to a first instance: Haramel. And what do i see?

    <luna buff window> - i click it and it says me "BUY LUNA IN AION SHOP" - at ******* level 8 just to me - to a new player !!!!

    2. boring leveling: only do stupid repetable quests for mobs.

    3. other instance: FT - what for if i have stupid quest for mobs? Maybe only once, cus there r shoes with + % of speed ...

    4. alukina: who will care her?

    5. i enter gelk and what do i see? 75-77 level. Mobs r strong so need a grind to level 80. in this level i can grab kerub armour, to not die often.

    So - where is starter set in gelk for those 5 stupid levels?

    In older Aion there was set in every 5 levels, what was helpful a lot, because leveling system was very good and not boring. At level 30 or like around - abyss campaign. Now only stupid rush to apsharanta = almost deleted 90% of game content.

    6. i enter aphsaranta as a new player without set. I go to base 11 or 12 and i try do a quest for a part of set: bannee. And what? Item costs about 700k kinah, and i cannot fill that stupid q, because I die. So i go other q. etc

    GAMEFORGE'S ATTITUDE: FOR A GAMEPLAY GO TO OUR AION SHOP.

    Not players turned Aion to a present level, but GAMEFORGE. U all mods or comas can say everything and moding my post - but it is 100% true.

    Riot made his Vanguard system to ban bot account and scripters. His game is also 14 years old. But GAMEFORGE like cheating idiots, because they R giving them tons of money, so WHY TO BUY A GUARD SYYSTEM for Aion EU? Wasting of money :D So 10% of game content because 90% is deleted :D and this 10% with a scammers, cheating everyday 24/7 :)

    And I am *** crying a river. Yes, because I love that game <3<3<3 . I <3 so much.

    And noobs turn my <3 game back, to state, when I can do nothing without my money.


    SO WHY AION HAS STILL A NAME "AION FREE TO PLAY"?

    And U know very good, how to fix Aion. Bring a LIFE to Lakrum, Dumaha, Red Kata North. OPEN RED KATA SOUTH and put quests. ADJUST SOME PARTS OF THOSE MAPS TO MAXED LEVEL AND PUT UR BELOVED SHARDS FOR CRAFTING GOOD GAMEPLAY ITEMS. BUT NO - IT COSTS MONEY SO U DON'T CARE IT. LET'S KEEP AION BORING WITH A WORST LEVEL EVERY YEAR.


    U DO NOT EVEN WANT UNLOCK OLD AION SKINS, TO PEOPLE HAVE FUN. U CREATED MAGICAL CRAFTING SYSTEM WITHOUT GOOD GOODS. U DO NOT UPDATE CHARACTER CREATION ANYMORE. I HATE UR *** DON'T CARE AT ALL. U STOPPED EVEN FIX BUGS IN GAME. AND I HAVE 5350 DAYS OF GOLD PACK :)

    ONLY TWO THINGS U DID, OR U TRIED DO FOR WHOLE YEARS:

    -open new servers Miren and this second. But U let them die, because U did not care Ur own money even, invested to that Aion Promotion. I remember U putted even AD Campaign to social media. How can be so *** don't care firm rly? If U care it, this Promotion could help a lot to people, woh left - to come back or - to bring us new players.
