Drop rate / Kinah farming

  • As of right now -I am totally unable to get kinah. I frequently go pve instances, have master cooking and buy the Deava Pass. BUT- My kianh still stay the same > 3 mill. Lately i'we been farming mobs in open world but the droprate is non-existent. This is not how AION is supposed to be. You are supposed to be self sufficient - a deava pass and or a crafting skill can make you extra money. As of right now i can barly afford scroll with this rate.

It's not the active players fault bots exist. Lowering droprate and removing kinah, godstones ect from droptable ONLY hurts active paying players.

There are alot of other ways to get rid of the bots. This is not the right way.

Reinstate NORMAL droprates and NORMAL kinah gain/Droptable like godstones ect.

It is NOT funny to know that whatever i do in the game will just decreese kinah and not raise it. Playing the game should make you progress, not the other way around.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Common ways to make kinah atm are selling eso runs with alts, duo lut debilkarim runs with jotun chest or selling bt stuff. There also some broker stuff related but its a bit tricky.

Game is designed atm that you cannot make enought kinah from open world. That segment of making kinah is only reserved for bots, so dont even bother.

If you wanna make kinah make alts and sell eso...

  • I know that ”selling eso runs” is a thing.
The game was not intended to work like that.
You are supposed to be self sufficient enought by just playing. And if you want to make extra you could farm, craft ect.

Selling Esoterrence is essentially giving up progress in terms of AP for kinah. Playing the game for hours should give you progress nevertheless.

It is really counterproductive how bots/droprates are managed by Gameforge atm.

I fear this really is about to kill the game soon.
And i am not going to give up, this is a suggestion-box on the forum. If anyone on Gameforge is reading this you should really consider this change. It wont make people stop buying Deava pass plus it will remove the effectiveness bots have from the game.

    Who decides that?

Selling Esoterrence is essentially giving up progress in terms of AP for kinah.

No it's not. Your alts contribute nothing to your main character's power.

Playing the game for hours should give you progress nevertheless.

It does, in the form of 1.5mil Kinah every week.

Gameforge doesn't manage drop rates at all. They're not developing the game.

I fear this really is about to kill the game soon.

Doomsdayposting has been a thing ever since Aion went free to play with 2.7.

If anyone on Gameforge is reading this you should really consider this change.

They are, and admittedly they're paying more attention to the forum than they should.

On the bright side, your feedback will very likely be forwarded.

it will remove the effectiveness bots have from the game.

    How so?

  • Azuuu unfortunately this forum is useless for any suggestions. Ppl only defend gameforge here and think that things go normal way.
Back in time world drop was fine, with items and money. Were less bots. Now its opposite. Gameforge didnt adapt to it, but blamed players by nerfing drop for them. And Auxi defend company like that. Nothing to discuss here

I really hope it’s not useless. I have seen some suggestions here tried. For a period of time thou. This should be a permanent change. And not exclude sertain items like balaur mats and godstones.
I think Gameforge’s reason behind the low droprate is to keep people buying deava passes. The thing is people would still do so. If there is more incentives to play the game more and longer - like normal droprate with all items - people would still want to edge out with deava pass to keep themselfs ahead. The title alone will keep people buying it.
Point is - if you keep players interested in the game they will spend money aswell.

People don’t want to spend money just to get necesseties like scrolls.

  • Sure, it barly can. Thing is kinah is needed to buy more materials to cock that i can’t get from gathering/morphing. Like balaur meats.

So at times im left with no materials, no scroll and no kinah.

A master chef who gathers aether and farma dp for morphing should millions and millions of kinah every day. As of right now i have had less than 1 kk for weeks.
I tried to farm balaurs for about 1 hour as a test, killed about 200 or more non-elite balaurs. And i got less than 16.000 kinah from gerenal mechant for miscs. A few balaur hears for about 3 k each. And i think is was 2 white stones - accu 12 and evasion 12. Just the usage of a few pots and scrolls puts me behind and makes it completely useless to farm.

  • Azuuu you have some problems with quoting.

No, GF and NCSoft did nothing for many years with godstones and sms - main problems ppl complaiend about. Why is it allowed to win by silence/blind procs instead of skill? Any logic? No any fairness.

Or implementing new arena locations - they didnt change since game was released.
Or opportunity of dred/runatorium between the same race - easier to get entry, more different opponents, its interesting. But no.
Changes with instances where tanks arent needed - any sin/gladi can tank, so why do you need templar when you can do it faster? Also KKM and Padma demands high dps due to time limits.

Anyway, I am close to quit, gl with that

  • Yes, i do hava a problem with quoting😅

Well, these questions are off-topic. But Spiritmasters, godstones, dreds, classes ect are more a question for NCSoft. They make the game, GF only manage it in EU.
The ”Meta” is alot different there so SM’s for example are underpowered when everybody has top top gear.

I feel like if GF can make these small differances with droprates, they should.

  • I agree, Aion is now so tough to make kinah. I have played since release of Aion... yes i'm old. I have the metal collectors edition from when it was subscription based. I have played 100's of MMO's, just in case someone thinks I don't know what I am talking about

The fact that there is limited ways to make any decent amount of Kinah. This will negatively effect the game. Plain and simple

My humble opinion from someone that has played MMO's for 30 years -

Imagine your new... When you get to max level and realise your not gonna get the Kinah you need to slowly progress your character, you simply stop playing Aion and play something else. It's that simple. People won't invest time in a game if you can't progress your character, and you need Kinah to do it so people will just leave

Option 2 is to buy Kinah from sellers, which is ironically what they were trying to reduce and failed epically

Option 3: use in game currency from micro transactions ONTOP of game pass. This is obviously not sustainable. People may buy the odd bit here and there, but I guarantee most people won't regularly buy in game currency to continually progress a character, you can't tie progression to in game currency... as we all know

Option 4: stay and play the game anyway, I think a small amount of people will do this regardless of the state of the game. They will continue to defend it with comments that don't address the issues

I'm not suggesting the game should be over simplified as that will also hurt the game, just that it needs tweaking. Not that anyone will address it lol

  • And now they removed the lut kinah aswell, everything purges f2p nowdays....as much as u want it, it all comes to doing sell runs, but if somehow you are out of money that lower udas was a very good thing to do,that would ve get u some money easy...but no... u take that out too....donate donate donate, thats al you have in mind gameforge. I wanna play this game but not feel stressed about getting kinah. Now with LUT not gettin kinah theres basically no way to get kinah in this game for players that are not bots. I understand we can do bt , padma sell runs , but really now.....isnt obvious that you can not get 200kk for a weapon from mobs. Tell me what f2p players did that you had to delete the lut box.

  • A lot of players had many alts geared just for that lut runs, that thign will affect the economy by a lot bcs even now some ppl would not afford to buy telos sell runs/eso/bt. Basically if u come to game now, theres no way to start getting kinah for beginers + no1 will invite them to bt bcs they dont have gears.

I generally agree that it is tough start for a new player but the 7 time LUT kinah run which was around 10-12min run for a sorc+cleric and was that fastest, now has been replaced by the Supply seller & buyer in Apheta Beluslan which can get you minimum 2 times the kinah you made in LUT.
