    I'm glad I hear that. I think we don't need magic for this. Sadly there are tons of bots in this game. They just need to spend 1-2 hours ingame to get rid of bots. This topic is not the first about bot problem. They have ingame GM, so I hope they start to focus this problem.

    There's not just a bot-problem, but also a hack/cheat problem on a massive scale. Entire botfarms blatantly using teleport-hacks.

    There have been multiple people who say they have reported the bots and they keep seeing the same bots for weeks. I keep seeing the same gladiator bot farming mobs near asteria for 3rd week now. And if you don't believe them or me. I don't care. Im not going to go out of my way to waste my time in gathering proof for you specifically. Its already enough that we have to be the police and record and report the bots.. There are massive amounts of people noticing it too. Only you are here defending gameforge and providing zero solutions like some blind fanboy.

    Regarding botting: Even if they ban a few here and there, new bots will be made as fast as they were banned. Just take a look around Poeta: There are more bots running around than players. Not sure why but back in the early days, botting was never as bad as it currently is. Plus players could be banned for buying Kinah. Nowadays it seems as if many buy Kinah without a care in the world. Makes you wonder why that is.

    indeed, even if they ban bots, the problem is they are a few in the support team, and farm bots are... way too many.

    And @PinCake everywhere are already more bots than players....

    Even in Heiron.... even in the city, when the tekeport bots once and a while port back to ah to sell their stuff....

    Please play the game for more than a month and draw your own conclusions. This new wave of "new thing" MMO tourists is the reason people spout this nonsense in the first place.

    DragonAlex I used Poeta as an example due to the fact that Poeta functions as the starting region for Elyos. So even if they ban a few bots in Eltnen, Heiron, Theo, new bots will be made just as fast as they were banned. The issue here is that banning bots, while completely necessary (please dont get me wrong, I don‘t support botting), will not help to fight against root of the problem.
    There are bots due to a poor droprate. Sadly, it‘s far easier to buy Kinah with money than to farm items.

    You'll never see an ingame GM... they tend to go around invisible to check on those bots. If a player is to long in one place or looks like they are botting you will get a message asking if you're there.. You don't answer that, then it's a ban for sure..

    Well I suggest you to get used on bots, becouse there will be even more. I reported some but never saw them banned. So solution is to farm them for ap 😆

    Bots move in hordes and teleport, that should not require them to DM. Their names are similar too in most cases and they stand "inside" each other. :D

    I saw once, but only on LFG. Lv 50 priest ( not chanter/cleric).

    I started reporting bots using the support site 10 days ago. I still see them online everyday.

    Now, tonight i saw this happening and reported.

    This week end is the most bot reporting i have done with 30 bot group + one huge grp that is stuck at the observatory ely if you done the calcul 30 * 8 = 240 + one wiçth more 30 bots at the minimum so in the session of this week end is more than 300 "players" that i need to report (but yes it's still normal i think?)


    is gameforge will do anything of this or NOT because botting is not allowed yet on their rules if they don't want it they have just to :


    * don't allowed VPN (if vpn is detected insta ban)

    * don't allowed the same ip in the same household (exception if you have familly with you ==> like dofus servers ==> id card needed + ip)

    * if you want to play must be using siel's energy that you paid in a website (like ff14 or other mmorpg actually)

    * have moderators ingame for ban bot each day ( 1 the morning - 1 in end afternoon and this, the WEEK END TOO ...) ==> possibility to call volonteers (no pay if players)

    * pay the players at each bot they report (for example AP or ingame shop $$) from that it's not cost effective for the botting

    *allowed craft only for siel's players

    * ban ip the players that using bot (combo with VPN)

    * NO KINAH when doing quests ==> only if siel's energy (antibot lutting)

    * NO TRADE ALOWED ==> only siel's energy (antibot lutting)

    * NO EXHANGE ALOWED ==> only siel's energy (antibot lutting)


    I think that all the point is a MINIMUM to have a decent server with NO BOTS + merge the 2 servers to reunite the community now!

    You are aware of the fact that many bots do have Siel Energy active? And I'm not even talking about the free 1 hour Siel. Some of them even have the Kitty-Pet with them.


    Not sure how many times I have to repeat myself, but we have such a huge botting problem due to the nerfed drop rates...

    If you travel to Theobomos where people around ~lvl 30 do quests (forgot the exact name of the region), you‘ll see Rangers with Siel Tickets + Kitty-Pets running around, either alone or with other Rangers, obviously botting. I also saw people running around Edit: Eltnen (lower parts of the map) for weeks, only farming kinah-quest-mobs, with Siel Energy active, but not responding to group invites, /w, no change in level etc.


    Of course you are right, too. I‘m just saying that there are actual bots running around with active Siel Energy + Pets.
    So suggesting that people can only obtain Kinah with active Siel Energy is not going to help against botting.
