aion classic cannot connect to authorization server

    i couldnt play game from yesturdays crash and i just loged in today for a second my game loadead up till UI showed up then game just stoped and after 2 minutes crashed again,and now AGAIN i cannot connect getting same error like day before.

    Was anyone able to solve the "connect to authorization server" error? The support gave me these copypaste instructions to "solve" it:


    1. Delete the folder "Data" and "L10n" within your AION client installation folder.
    2. Make sure to remove any kind of modification you may have tried to apply to your AION client (language packs, bat file, etc.).
    3. Make sure to launch the game only and exclusively from the Gameforge client and do not use any external software, such as DPS meter, exitlag, etc...
    4. Make sure to add both AION and the Gameforge client as exception to your antivirus, firewall and any other security software you might have installed on your device.
    5. Restart your router.
    6. After following these steps, please repair the game once again.
    7. If after this final repair step you still have issues, please reinstall the game altogether.


    And still did not work, but hopefully this can work for you. Now, instead of the authorization error, I get the error that says that the game is not available in my country. I'm in Portugal btw. This is ridiculous.

    Yes, I followed those steps too... Unfortunately, that didn't fix it for me either :| The only thing that worked was connecting to someone else's WiFi, which I can't use for playing Aion since it's too far away to be used over a long period of time. I don't understand why using a different WiFi fixes it, but another IP-address or resetting the router doesn't... :/

    thank you very much gameforge for reminding me to never play on your servers again. Logged in, bought siel + pass, day after - can not connect to authorisation server. Support gives useless copypaste.


    I am 99% sure there is problem with your firewall as my game worked for a day from landline, and now landline does not work but connecting from mobile internet does. I tried to open a TCP connection to your server - and it just drops it on my landline internet.


    This issue affects dozen of people and you do nothing for days and make support send random bullshit. Bravo, weekend spoiled, never paying here again.

    no game has to tell me what i do with my router or with my network. this aion is so dubious... I was told I should restart my pc.. you get an all-round copy-paste message where you should just do what you've already done 5 times! if you would deal with the people who have the problem then the problem would be solved for a long time!!!


    I don't know how many are affected and whether they all bought siels and deava pass, but I think the damage we suffered on the whole is enormous and we're not talking about 300 dollars that we earned without bringing any performance. and then don't feel guilty or say anything about it.

    its so god dam sad they we are invisible to them, i cant even enter the game, bunch of people with the same problem, friend of mine is in queue and is number is going up!!! its ridiculous, glad i dindt give them any money

    As far as i know you can also reclaim your spend money. I think i will go for that ;)

    In this case they will ban your account for the time running on your siel, but ... well ... whatever ...


    Support told me to restart my PC ... next will be how to find my Internet Explorer?

    Instructions on how to fix the authorization in the game ...
    I contacted the provider and asked to change the ip address, explaining the situation.
    after which the client left and installed it again.
    After that it works without problems!

    same fix as above ^ - you need to change your IP somehow, as network team from gameforge seem to add it to firewall rules for no reason. Although my provider refused to roll my ip, changing router mode to modem reset the leasing and fixed the issue.

    i play via hotspot of my phone, do you ahev an idea how i can replicate your archievement? i know how to change an ip but what doe sthe gameforge server EVEN WANT OF ME???

    after trying every solution available ive tried again to login, still the same issue.


    but i have a hotspot around thats always open and while in the initial testing that hotspot didnt work, it does now i can log in but still not with my main hotspot.


    heres no one anymore talking does that mean no one besides me has the problem any longer?


    for everyone if you still have the problem it is your internet connection making the problem and it is after the ddos attack from some days ago, they changed theyr server settings/firewall and now theres something on some internets they do no longer accept.


    in germany its quite normal to have a changing IP for your internet that might eb a problem sinc etehy probably tried to defend against changing ips in a ddos but completely fked some countrys where thats a normal thing.


    i cant find a way to make my ip static but to spent 15 bucks a week or use a vpn service (thats probably not gonan work if even a vpn doe sthat? i enver used anything liek that)


    anyways i think the problem is now pretty obvious to me but aslong agmeforge doenst tell me how i amke my entire pc/internet conform to tehyr lousy server setup or actually show it competence and resolve the problem, im fked.

    I'm not use Proxy/VPN. But i can't login too. I feel bad when i can't login game after I'm play 1 char with lvl 23. I'm repair and intall game again and change modem WLAN today but still the same error? I just buy coin and Siel Aura and can't play game in 2 days. OMG...
