aion classic cannot connect to authorization server

    I use w10 but in my opinion is Internet problem, I installed classic aion on wednesday and normal play to friday with static IP address internet 300mb/s now i change location here i can use only 4g/Lte operator (Orange) router and have same problem "Cannot connect to authorization server" I will try to change Ipv4 to Ipv 6 and change DNS router with static Ip address but still have problem :( I found in google who had the same problem 13 years ago and wrote solution "Try deactivating your proxy server on ytour router, and reboot your pc, this worked for me and my friends. Please let me know if it worked for you aswell."but i cant found any proxy options i my router , but i found a temporary solution for me maybe help someone I disconnect the ethernet cabel use my mobile phone use usb cabel "tathering Usb Internet" i have 30gb limit in mobile phone and i can normal log in to serwer and play. In my opinon problem is ip adress maybe is dynamic I dont now today i will try change router to another and change sim card operator Orange to another , sorry for my english maybe it will help someone.

    Their security system simply blocks too much traffic and many of our IP addresses are blocked incorrectly.


    Ok, I understand that everyone makes mistakes but why they are silent and don't support players even though it's been over 68 hours since this problem appeared...


    Support responds once a day proposing stupid repairs on the client's side, which means that the solution to the problem is constantly postponed.

    Yes it is 100% on their end.

    It happened since their DDOS "fix" (more like they messed up their settings and blocked legit IPs)

    I will provide exactly all the issues that start happening on my end since that day and hopefully that can give them some information that they can act on.

    1. All days before the DDOS attack I could access the game normally (same computer, same game files, no VPN, no modification).

    2. I buy Siel's Subscription all good. Played normally and went to bed.

    3. Next day came back from work, I see DDOS announcement and trying to log in I see "Server Authentication Error".

    4. Since then (Friday & Weekend) I am unable to log into to the game. With the same game files and the same computer that was working 2 days before is getting error message "Server Authentication Error" on repeat.

    5. I launch the game from Gameforge Client -> some times it get's stuck at 81% -> if it passes I get the authentication errors. (Don't know exactly why 81% but other people reported the same on discord)

    6. I tried Mobile Hotspot and same computer & same game files no problem. I can log in with no "Authentication errors".

    7. I contacted Support asap since my subscription is running, but I got the same ol' copy-pasted response to "Uninstall / Re install files blah blah". I told them it makes no sense the same computer to log in normally with Hotspot and not from Fiber ISP.

    8. Looks like they are indeed blocking IPs...

    Finally! I gave the support my IP, they gave it to the technical department and suddenly the game started working WOW the time for such a simple operation was 70h ...

    Okay so, I replied to my first Support ticket (the one they proposed to follow the copy-pasted solution) and told them it didn't work. Then I also provided them with my IP.

    After a few hours they replied back that they have forwarded it to the Technical Team and to wait for the issue to be resolved.

    I open the game just to check and now I CAN access it again and the error is gone. So, if anyone has this issue, open a ticket to Support and wait for their response. Unless they provide a general solution.

    Good luck to everyone else is all I can say.

    Was your issue the " The game is currently unavailable to you. Please contact Support." or Unauthorized connection?

    I was getting the "Cannot connect to authorization server" error and it's fixed now for my account.

    Sorry to hear. When I said they fixed it I meant for my account/IP.


    I was in the exact situation as you they had blocked my home's fibernet IP but I could access the game from my mobile 4G hotspot since last Friday. Then I opened a ticket and spammed them with my IP and asked them to whitelist it.


    Late on Sunday they responded to me with "We have forwarded the issue to the Technical team and have applied a fix and you should be able to access the game again."


    Indeed I tried and i can log in again as normal. Took them 3 days but they did something. You can read my other posts above where I describe my issues with this error.


    Now did they do something only for people that opened a ticket providing with their IPs? That's another question.

    With win 11 the gameforge launcher starts the game and the blue graphic of the girl with wings appears but thats it, works ok on win 10 laptop.

    According to task manager the game is running but the NC never appears, any ideas please?

    - Die ÖFFENTLICHE IP eures Routers direkt mit angeben (Könnt ihr einfach über Websites rausfinden, weiß nicht ob ich die hier nennen darf, einfach mal googeln )

    - Direkte Bitte um Weiterleitung an das "Technik-Team"

    Hat bei mir nun funktioniert & ich komme nach etwa 5 Tagen wieder rein. Kann nur vermuten was die gemacht haben, schätze eine Firewallregel.


    Daher bin ich raus aus dem Thread, hoffe man sieht sich bald Ingame.

    this post must be up. they still didnt fix the problem yet and my IP is already in blacklist. they told me they dont have license and rights to publish game in my country but im living in Switzerland..
